Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate acquired a LEED Platinum certified new office building in Budapest on behalf of an open-ended special AIF of an institutional investor. The White House, developed by GTC Group, was completed in summer of 2018 and has a gross lettable area of 22,300 square metres. The property is fully occupied, the main tenants being investment fund manager BlackRock, Jaguar Land Rover and the Dutch co-working provider Spaces. The average lease term is 8.2 years. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

GTC is gearing up in Budapest by commencing construction of Pillar office project located in the Budapest’s 13th district,. Recently, GTC celebrated the completion of their LEED Platinum certified GTC White House office building located also in Váci Road corridor, fully leased to BlackRock, Range Rover Jaguar, and Spaces. To further expand its position on the Budapest office market, GTC acquired one more land plot adjacent to GTC’s Center Point to increase the development pipeline to over 100,000 sqm of office space.

GTC Serbia opened Ada Mall, its first shopping centre in Belgrade, Serbia. It is the only latest-generation shopping centre in the Serbian capital and covers an area of over 34,000 sqm. This extraordinary shopping mall was designed to provide its visitors with a unique Belgradian shopping experience.

The first building of the Green Heart complex in Belgrade has been officially opened. Nordeus, independent mobile gaming company based in Belgrade, chose GTC’s office centre to create their new studio. To accommodate a team of 170 people, the creator of competitive games leased 6,000 sqm across seven floors with three additional underground levels for parking.

JLL has provided space for 2 new branches of the international provider of co-working offices Spaces. In November this year, Spaces open in the low-energy building Nile House in Karlín, where they will occupy more than 3,500 sqm. One month later, they will take over 3,300 sqm in the SmíchOFF office building in Prague 5. At the same time, Spaces announced its first location in Hungary. The co-working operator will move into GTC White House in Budapest in Q4 2019. CBRE acted as adviser to the deal.

Just before the end of 2018, GTC S.A. signed €94.6 million new loan agreements certifying the financial solidity of the company. The refinancing was granted to three prime projects of the developer and asset manager – GTC White House in Budapest, FortyOne in Belgrade, and Artico in Warsaw.

GTC’s latest development, GTC White House has achieved the highest, Platinum certification level under the LEED for Building Design and Construction rating scheme. As of today, this is the second office building which was awarded with this certification in Budapest. The certification process was advised by Colliers International Hungary’s Green Building Advisory Team.

GTC plans to start the construction of a new office complex, City Rose Park on Bulevardul Expoziţiei in Bucharest next year. The €100 million project will comprise three new office buildings.

GTC announced the acquisition of a new development project in Budapest, adjacent to GTC Hungary’s Center Point Office Buildings. This new project will be titled Center Point 3 and will add approximately 35,500 sqm GLA of office and commercial space to the flagship Center Point Office Campus.

The landlord representation team at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland will be responsible for leasing vacant space as exclusive agent in the Europlex and Irydion office buildings and the A building in the Wiśniowy Business Park complex in Warsaw.
