Globalworth completes Renault’s new Bucharest HQ

One and a half years after starting work on the site in the western part of Bucharest, Globalworth has finalised the construction of Renault Bucharest Connected (RBC). The project includes 40,000 sqm of Class A offices, served by an underground level with approximately 240 parking spaces, with a further 760 spaces outdoors. Renault Bucharest Connected includes an 8,000 sqm design centre, and the employees who work there will benefit not only from a 350 seat amphitheatre but also other facilities such as a restaurant, gym and a medical office.

Developers to deliver 1.2 million sqm of new space in Romania

The local real estate market has entered a new year of development on all its major segments, as developers plan to deliver industrial, retail and office spaces with a cumulated area of 1.2 million square meters, a new market record. Warehouse A will be enlarged from its present size of 30,000 sqm by an additional 60,000 sqm. The extra capacity will be available to prospective customers at the end of the year. It will be the largest building in P3’s portfolio in the Czech Republic.

Golub GetHouse plans 140-metre-tall residential tower in Warsaw

A 140-metre-tall residential tower with a cascade roof, including a hotel and a four-storey underground car park – this is what Liberty Tower looks like in a nutshell. The latest Golub GetHouse project will be built at the intersection of Żelazna and Grzybowska streets in Warsaw's Wola district. The construction of the high-rise building designed by the American architecture studio Arquitectonica is scheduled to start in Q2 2020.

New leases

  • Transport company Zadbano has become a new tenant at LCube Rzeszów Airport. The company has taken 1.3 thousand sqm of warehouse space in Building 2, which was completed last year.
  • Santander Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych is moving its Poznań headquarters to the Nowy Rynek complex being developed by Skanska. The tenant will occupy nearly 900 sqm of space in Building E.
  • Medical company Fresenius Medical Care has renegotiated its lease of 3,900 sqm of warehouse space and 120 sqm of office space in Prologis Park Poznań. The company was represented in the transaction by real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

New appointments

  • At the beginning of April 2024, Barbara Tomaszewska took over as Director of the first Aiden by Best Western in Łódź, Poland. She was previously Deputy Director at Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence.
  • Oriol Casellas Deig has been appointed CFO of Redport Capital. He also joined the Board of Directors of the Romanian development company. Deig has over 20 years’ worth of experience in real estate.
  • InPost has appointed Javier van Engelen as Group CFO. He is an experienced manager, an expert in finance, who has held CFO positions in a number of international companies.
