Revetas Capital opens first phase of Budapest office development

The first phase of the Millennium Gardens office building has opened its doors with an occupancy rate of over 90%, following an investment of €150 million from Revetas Capital for the development of the North Tower. Millennium Gardens is part of the portfolio of assets of Revetas Capital in Hungary, the pan-European real estate investment advisor that also manages 12 retail parks across the country. The project is being developed by TriGranit, which has more than 20 years of experience and has successfully implemented more than 50 landmark projects.

LaSalle launches mixed-use project in Prague's centre

LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle) launched the development of a new premium retail and office centre, 100YARDS on the iconic Na Příkopě street in Central Prague. The project will transform three separate buildings into one mixed-use complex which will feature a landmark new shopping destination and premium office space. The opening is planned for the second half of 2024, the company says.

Crestyl to build 170 flats in Prague 5

Another Prague brownfield will be turned into a residential project. Development group Crestyl will be building on the site of the former Waltrovka in Prague's Radlice district. The plan is to build a total of 170 flats for CZK 1.5 billion (almost €61 million) on the land, which the company bought with a zoning permit from the Red Group at the turn of this year. Preliminary construction work on the Semerínka project should start at the turn of the year and the entire project is scheduled to be completed within three years.

CTP starts construction of office building in Brno

CTP has officially launched the construction of a CZK 1.5 billion office building which will close the first stage of the Brno Ponávka complex development and will offer its tenants state-of-the-art technological, and environmentally sustainable solutions. At the same time, a modern urban park worth CZK 30 million is being built in the complex, as a cooperation between the developer and the City of Brno, as well as the third part of the cycle path connecting the Ponávka and Vlněna complexes.

  • DevHub, a Romanian software development company, has solidified its presence in the Romanian market by opening two new offices, with a total area of over 1,000 sqm, located in the office buildings within the mixed-use projects Iulius Town Timișoara and Palas Iași, developed by Iulius.
  • ELI Parks has signed an agreement with Quehenberger Logistics for the lease of 1,703 sqm of warehouse space and 56 sqm of offices within the ELI Park Bacău project.

New appointments

  • Romanian developer Redport has appointed Sorin Ioan Blaga as COO. In recent years, Blaga has served as CEO of Liebrecht & wooD Romania, managing real estate developments with a combined value of several hundred million euros, and as COO & Co-CEO of The Concept Group.
  • From mid-October, László Csapó will take up the position of Director of Business Development at Danubius Hotels Zrt. He succeeds Andrea Róna, who had held the position since 2022.
  • Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has named Gabriel Vințe as Business Development Manager within the Project & Development Services (PDS) department. He will also oversee the business line dedicated to sustainability services. Vințe has over 21 years of experience gained in renowned companies across sectors such as financial services, retail, residential, and consultancy.
