CTP has appointed Harry Bannatyne as Group Head of Client Relations based in the company’s headquarters in Prague. Bannatyne was previously a Partner and Regional Director Industrial at Colliers in the Czech capital. Prior to that he was National Director, Head of Industrial Agency for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at JLL.

CTP’s founder Remon Vos has been listed as the second wealthiest Dutch person on the annual Quote 500 list with an estimated net worth of €5.7 billion, just behind Heineken heiress Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken. The story of CTP, a company with a market cap of €7.7 billion, is a prime example of how tapping into CEE’s untapped potential helped create a dynamic real estate empire.

CTP, the biggest owner and developer of industrial projects in Romania, has taken over warehouses in Târgu Mureș from domestic furniture retailer Mobexpert. 

CTP Romania, the largest developer and owner of warehouses in the country, has more than 270,000 sqm currently under construction in Bucharest and regional cities, accounting for around 26% of all development underway at the group level. 

Irish clothing chain Primark has expanded the space it leases in CTPark Bor, the largest Czech industrial park. CTP, the developer and owner of the park, recently finished another warehouse for Primark, which will be fully automated, incorporating the latest robotic technology. In total, Primark leases approximately 80,000 sqm of Class A warehouse space in CTPark Bor.

CTP, the largest developer and owner of industrial projects in Romania, will expand its CTPark Bucharest North project by 95,000 sqm.  

CTP is expanding CTPark Prešov Juh in eastern Slovakia with two new halls with an area of 60,000 sqm.

CTP officially opened two more buildings in Brno for young local and expatriate professionals and young families. Both buildings can accommodate more than 200 individuals and are follow-ups to the successfully established Domeq I, which the company launched in Brno about four years ago. Due to their larger rooms, the two new buildings are designed to be more for individual residential living rather than co-living, as was the case for Domeq I.  CTP continued this residential project in response to the current high demand in the housing market that is not just seen in Brno, but the whole country.

CTP has expanded its cooperation with the logistics company Loxxess s.r.o., which is currently the second-largest tenant of CTP in the Czech Republic. The newly constructed warehouse provides the company with nearly 70,000 sqm of additional space, over and above their existing 45,000 sqm of leased space, was handed over in September. The premises are mainly used for the storage of drugstore goods for dm-drogerie markt.

CTP reported a 92% rise in profit for the first nine months of 2021 to €317.8 million, compared with €165.8 million for the same period of 2020. The company’s strong performance was driven by solid ongoing leasing take up, rental growth and record development valuations from accelerating yield compression in CTP’s core CEE portfolio. The robust financial results are manifested in adjusted EPRA earnings per share year-to-date increasing to €0.38 in 2021 as compared with €0.29 for the same period in 2020. The company has also invested significantly this year in boosting its talent base, attracting new people into senior management roles in country teams and across group functions.
