LPP implements proptech solutions in over 1,600 stores

Immofinanz announces changes in its Executive Board

After the successful completion of the mandatory takeover offer of CPI Property Group on Immofinanz the Supervisory Board and the members of the Executive Board Dietmar Reindl and Stefan Schönauer mutually agreed today in relation to the Change of Control Event, that their contract as board members shall end on 8 June 2022. Dietmar Reindl and Stefan Schönauer will continue to work for the Company as advisors to the Executive and Supervisory Board until 31 December 2022.

CPIPG reports 243% y-o-y profit growth in Q1 2022

CPI Property Group reported first-quarter profit growth of 243 percent year-on-year to €381 million (roughly CZK 9.4 billion). It was able to do so thanks to its takeover of Austria's Immofinanz, which owns a number of commercial properties. CPI now owns 76.86 percent of the shares in this Austrian company. As a result, CPI is currently the Central European leader in real estate and is planning further expansion with the Austrian real estate company S Immo, where it now controls 42.6 per cent along with Immofinanz.

Immofinanz records €72 million net profit in Q1 2022

Immofinanz’s like-for-like rental income rose by 4.3% in the first quarter of 20221, the occupancy rate remained high at 94.4%, and FFO 1 before tax was stable at a very good level of €34.4 million. Net profit totalled €72.4 million, compared with a substantial positive effect in the first quarter of the previous year from the revaluation of the stake in S Immo. With an equity ratio of 52.3% and a conservative debt level with a net LTV of 32.7%, Immofinanz has a strong capital foundation.

CA Immo triples consolidated net earnings

With profitable sales of non-strategic properties and good progress in the implementation of the development pipeline, CA Immo's operating performance remained stable in the first quarter, seamlessly from the previous quarters. GTC records strong increase in net profit year-on-year

In Q1 2022, GTC’s adjusted EBITDA was at €26 million (€24 million in Q1 2021) and the net profit amounted to €15 million (€9 million in Q1 2021). New leases

  • Activ Property Services brokered the transaction in which moveX leased 3,300 sqm of modern logistics space within the Mega Company Park in Chiajna, near Bucharest.
  • The Polish branch of Lufthansa Technik AG, a global provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for civil aviation, has joined the group of tenants at the Infinity office building in Wrocław. The company has leased over 860 sqm of office space in the building, in the heart of the city on ul. Legnicka. Lufthansa Technik AG will move into its new headquarters in April 2026. The lease was signed for seven years.
  • Fortress Logistics Real Estate, part of South African global investment platform, has set up office in the third floor of the Metropolitan building on Piłsudski Square. The Warsaw office will overlook the Ministry of Culture and the Raffles Europejski Hotel.

New appointments

  • Romanian developer Redport has appointed Sorin Ioan Blaga as COO. In recent years, Blaga has served as CEO of Liebrecht & wooD Romania, managing real estate developments with a combined value of several hundred million euros, and as COO & Co-CEO of The Concept Group.
  • From mid-October, László Csapó will take up the position of Director of Business Development at Danubius Hotels Zrt. He succeeds Andrea Róna, who had held the position since 2022.
  • Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has named Gabriel Vințe as Business Development Manager within the Project & Development Services (PDS) department. He will also oversee the business line dedicated to sustainability services. Vințe has over 21 years of experience gained in renowned companies across sectors such as financial services, retail, residential, and consultancy.
