Panattoni has announced the official opening of a new logistics centre for Action in Bieruń near Tychy. The 60,800 sqm facility has been built as a BTS project and in record time. The project has been BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level, obtaining the highest score so far at this level among Polish facilities in this category (77.1%). Ultimately, more than 200 people will be employed in the facility.

A furniture manufacturer is settling into the MLP Poznań West logistics centre. MLP Group is to develop over 26,000 sqm for the tenant. The client was assisted by a team of specialists of the leading commercial real estate consultancy JLL during the transaction.

Panattoni has started its third BTS project for French supermarket chain Carrefour. The investment, which has an area of ​​50,000 sqm, is under development in Będzin in Silesia. The height of the facility will reach as much as 13 m, while more than 13,000 sqm is to be used as a technologically-advanced cold store. The project is to be built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification standards, while the developer will also create more than 5,000 sqm of green roofs.  

Panattoni is extending a production campus for K-Flex in Uniejów. After having developed almost 60,000 sqm in four buildings, the developer is now to deliver a further 6,500 sqm. The leading producer of thermal and acoustic insulation materials will already be using a 15 m high storage facility in March 2022. This will allow K-Flex to service the growing needs of its construction clients from Europe, Asia and the USA. Both companies are now planning further stages to the extension of the complex in Uniejów.

Crescendo Real Estate Advisors has finalized the sale of a BTS facility, located in Gliwice, which was built for DPD Polska. Palmira Capital Partners’ acquisition of the property for the European Core Logistics Fund (ECLF) was completed in December 2021. 

Valeo Siemens eAutomotive, a supplier of motors and other technologies for electric and hybrid vehicles, has opened a factory in the 7R Park Beskid II logistics park in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland. The facility, with office and laboratory space, occupies about 33,000 sqm.

Panattoni Europe laid the cornerstone for the construction of a 35,000 sqm facility for FM Logistic at Panattoni Park Głogów. From these premises, the tenant will service B2C e-commerce for a leading pet store chain owned by Fressnapf Group, which operates in Poland under the international brand Maxi Zoo, carrying out orders for individual clients from Poland and Germany. Panattoni Park Głogów, which will eventually cover 20 ha, is to offer 110,000 sqm under one roof. The investment is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level.

Spiżarnia, a distributor of Polish food to Western European countries, has chosen 7R Park Lublin to locate its new warehouse and offices. The company will occupy one of the five buildings at the planned logistics park. The facility for Spiżarnia, with an area of nearly 22,000 sqm, was developed in the BTS formula and houses three cold stores. The building will be completed in December 2021.

Panattoni has begun construction of a BTS centre for Solaris Bus & Coach. It is to be a warehouse with an area of over 10,000 sqm in Bolechowo near Poznań – just 150 m from the company’s current factory. The buildings will be connected by road and will share utilities. The Solaris BTS centre is to be completed at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter of 2022. 

Panattoni is completing another development for the automotive industry in Bielsko-Biała. As part of Panattoni Park Bielsko-Biała IV, the developer is to deliver a BTS production centre with an area of 33,200 sqm to the Italian-based Cornaglia Group – a producer of components for the automotive industry, as well as construction and farm equipment and other machinery. The building is to be completed in January 2022.
