The warehouse will be built as a part of GLP Park Lędziny in Silesia and used as a regular distribution depot for Maspex Group’s beverage division. Omega Pilzno will handle warehouse logistics and transport as part of the tender. AXI IMMO brokered the transaction.

Omega Pilzno operates warehouses in the Podkarpacie region and Pomerania, with 140,000 sqm of warehouse space. The company has a fleet of 700 trucks.

Maspex is Poland’s largest privately owned food company and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. The company is the market leader in many food product categories, including juices and beverages.

The facility is scheduled to start operating as early as at the turn of the first and second quarters of this year. More than 10,000 sqm of warehouse space has been arranged for Maspex.

“We decided to start cooperation with Omega Pilzno because of its significant experience in the industry. Our partner’s transport facilities, part of which was dedicated to service our project, was also of great importance. Additionally, both parties focused on great flexibility, thanks to which we were able to work out solutions that would allow us to implement the actions we had planned quickly,” says Robert Szelugowski, Warehouse Processes Director, Maspex Group.

“Cooperation with Maspex realizes our strategy of comprehensive customer service. As a logistics operator, we can offer solutions that combine transport, control and organization of warehouse processes and strategic planning of supply chains. We are incredibly pleased that these solutions are trusted by the European leader in the food industry,” says Adam Godawski, vice president of Omega Pilzno.

“The agreement between Maspex and Omega Pilzno is a classic WIN-WIN transaction, where focusing on shared goals made it possible to find the best and most satisfactory business solution. Our brokerage experience and excellent knowledge of the local market allowed us to present several alternative locations that met the requirements of both entities. Congratulations to everyone involved in this transaction, which once again proved how essential partner relations and skillful identification of business benefits allow for building joint successes,” comments Anna Głowacz, Head of Industrial & Logistics Agency, AXI IMMO.

GLP Park Lędziny offers numerous pro-ecological solutions (with an emphasis on reducing energy consumption) and comfort solutions for future users. Omega Pilzno will employ more than 50 people in Silesia, including managers and logistics specialists, and warehouse workers with UDT licenses.
