Within a month, BSH, the largest producer of home appliances in Europe, will be using over 12,000 sqm within Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III. The building will be used for storing tumble dryer components. This far Panattoni has delivered three developments with a combined area of around 150,000 sqm for BSH. Moreover, as part of the CEL Hub, the developer has delivered Appliance Park for component suppliers that serve the BSH factory. 


Panattoni has built around 2 million sqm in the Łódź area including over 150,000 sqm for BSH – the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Europe and one of the global leaders. This time, the manufacturer has leased 12,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III and will occupy this space within a month. The building will be used by the company to serve its tumble dryer factory.

“Due to the rapid development of BSH in Łódź as well as ongoing projects, it became necessary to lease additional warehouse space. Being able to rely on a partner such as Panattoni allows us to further develop our Łódź factory as we have planned,” says Paweł Adamowicz, the director of the Dryer Factory.

“Once again, the space we developed for BSH ideally serves the company’s activities in the region and is to become part of a living organism. Panattoni has again proven to be an excellent partner in its tenant’s comprehensive development since we can provide different types of commercial space in strategic locations,” says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director of Panattoni.

For BSH, the developer has so far delivered the largest home appliance factory on the continent with an area of 57,000 sqm. The development is also connected to a logistics centre that takes up 80,000 sqm and as part of this, Panattoni prepared two railway sidings with three sidetracks. The company also built a railway station with a 590m platform.  Nearby Panattoni also developed the Appliance Park with an area of 30,000 sqm, which is dedicated to the use of the factory’s component suppliers. Now as part of Panattoni Business Center Łódź III the company has delivered a further 12,000 sqm, which the tenant will be able to use within the month.

BSH benefits from the excellent location of Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III. The centre is barely 3.5 km from the centre of the city and can be easily accessed by both tram and bus. Moreover, the development is only 5 km from the A1 motorway – part of the sixth trans-European transport corridor – and 18 km from the A2 motorway, which connects Łódź with cities such as Poznań, Warsaw and Berlin.

New appointments

  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
