Prologis has completed the construction of a 22,200 square metre build-to-suit (BTS) facility for Arvato Polska leader in terms of complex outsourcing services at Prologis Park Stryków. CBRE facilitated this transaction. It is the second BTS project Prologis has launched this year at the park, and the third in Central Poland.  In the second quarter, Prologis started the construction of a 42,000 square metre facility for Agata at Piotrków Trybunalski and an 11,740 square metre BTS for German logistics operator Geis.

CTP is nearing completion of phase I of a new 25,000 sqm production facility which is being constructed for a new client, UK-based Stow, one of the leading suppliers of added-value warehouse racking and storage systems. The company's core activity is the development and manufacturing of racking systems for the storage of palletised or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures. 

Prologis has signed a new lease agreement for 13,800 square metres and will deliver two new facilities totalling 21,000 square metres at Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget for Waberer’s. The transactions with new customer Waberer’s include 13,800 square metres at DC7A, a 21,500 square metre speculative facility that is now fully let two months after completion and 21,000 square metres at DC7B and DC8 to be developed to the customer’s specifications and scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2017. 

Prologis has announced that it will deliver a 11,740 square metre build-to-suit (BTS) facility for Geis PL, a German logistics operator, at Prologis Park Stryków. The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Prologis has announced that it will deliver a 34,200 square metre build-to-suit distribution facility at Prologis Park Prague-Rudná for Sportisimo, a Czech sporting goods retailer.

A new distribution centre for Tesco is being built at SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań. The company will start operations in the BTS building comprising over 30 000 sqm at the turn of September and October 2016. Deliveries to 140 retail outlets in the northern and north-western regions of Poland will be completed from the new central warehouse.

Prologis has announced that it will deliver an additional 20,500 square metre facility for Mall.cz, an online consumer goods and electronics store at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny. The building is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2016.

Demand for industrial space lifted significantly in Q1 2016 in Budapest industrial markets and the hegemony of BTS projects has not broken yet. In the Budapest-South submarket vacancy rate dropped to 4.4% triggering two speculative projects, CBRE reports.

Prologis today celebrated the grand opening of a 25,414 square metre build-to-suit facility for BMW Group at Prologis Park Bratislava.

Prologis has announced that it has completed a 30,000 square metre expansion of a distribution facility in Rawa Mazowiecka – located in Central Poland – for Pepco, a leading clothing and houseware retailer. Construction ended three weeks ahead of schedule. Once operational, the facility will serve as Pepco’s Central European distribution hub.
