Construction of the two facilities, totaling 58,000 sqm, in the 7R Park Szczecin complex has commenced. It's 7R’s third major project in this region. A modern A-class building for Hultafors Group, which will be the first automated warehouse to use the AutoStore system in Poland, will be completed this month. . Meanwhile, in the center of the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics warehouse is already operating.

Savas Gencer has been appointed as investment director at 7R. He has joined the investment team led by Christopher Zeuner and will be responsible for capital raising activities and 7R’s international expansion into new European markets.

After a year serving as a Non-Executive Director at 7R, Chris Zeuner has been appointed Chief Investment Officer and board member of the company. In his new role, effective from January 1st, he will be responsible for 7R’s further expansion which includes plans to enter new European markets

7R has just started building a last mile urban warehouse in Gdynia, expanding its 7R City Flex network. It will be the first logistics facility in Gdynia to be built in the direct vicinity of the port and close to the city center.

Retailing is giving way to e-commerce. The pandemic has undoubtedly changed consumer habits, stimulated the development of the online purchasing sector and has underlined new needs in logistics and warehousing. This means that the supply chain will need to be reorganized along with an increase in storage space and moving product location closer to the consumer. As the first warehouse developer in Poland, 7R is rapidly responding to new market realities by offering its tenants facilities of up to 12 meters high. This solution will significantly reduce the costs of storing goods and allow for more efficient use of warehouse space.

7R has won a tender to purchase 20 ha of land in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre. On the plot, the developer will build the 7R Park Gdańsk Port complex, with a total area of approx. 123,000 sqm. The land property is located in the immediate vicinity of the Port of Gdańsk, and the largest deepwater terminal in the Baltic Sea – DCT Gdańsk.

In the first half of the year, Poland ranked second in Europe for net leased warehouse space. Demand for warehouses is steady and further investments continue to be made on the market. A new 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics project will be built at Graniczna Street in Wrocław. PIKA, a company which specializes in the outsourcing of document management, processing and distribution, has chosen 7R which will prepare a high-bay warehouse space adapted to the strict standards of document storage. The general contractor of the 7R City Flex Wrocław Airport facility is Atlas Ward Polska.

CBRE Global Investors, on behalf of its Logistics Venture Fund (LoVe), has acquired Building C of 7R Park Beskid I, a newly developed 15,000 sqm logistics warehouse located in Czechowice-Dziedzice in the Bielsko-Biała region of Poland.  The vendor was 7R.S.A.

The Medezin factory has started production in a 7R investment in Konstantynów Łódzki, Poland. This is the second brand that belongs to the Pelion Group, the largest healthcare company in Poland, which operates in the 7R Park Łódź West I. The storage area for Medezin was designed in the BTS formula and was adapted to the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

BWI Group, a global automotive suspension parts design and manufacturing company, has moved into a unique passive building in Europe. The group's research and development centre will begin operations in Balice near Kraków, where advanced technologies will be developed to increase the functionality of shock absorbers. The developer, 7R, has prepared an energy self-sufficient facility for the company, using an advanced trigeneration system. The building will obtain a BREEAM Very Good certificate.
