7R has started construction of a new facility in Pomerania. 7R City Park Gdańsk Airport I will ultimately provide three halls with a total area of about 40,500 sqm. Pekabex is the general contractor for the project.

Polish warehouse developer 7R has appoin­ted Michał Białas as a Member of the Management Board. Michał Białas will continue to develop the company, expand the real estate portfolio, and support leasing.

Patron Capital, the pan-European institutional investor focused on property-backed investments, in partnership with 7R, a developer specializing in the construction of warehouses have announced the sale of an approximately 30,000 sqm logistics asset in Goleniów, Poland to an undisclosed institutional investor for €22 million. 

7R has leased the entire space in the first stage of 7R Park Bydgoszcz. Thus, the complex is being prepared for expansion.

The total value of properties divested in 2022 by 7R totalled more than €430 million. This is historically a record year for the developer.

7R  and DWS have closed a transaction for the transfer of ownership of 7R Park Poznań East II, a warehouse park with a gross leasable area of over 51,000 sqm. The price has not been disclosed. 

7R Park Wrocław West II has been granted a valid building permit. This is another development in the Lower Silesian Voivodship to be invested in by 7R. The facility will be built in Kąty Wrocławskie. Ultimately, it will provide nearly 44,000 sqm of class-A logistics and production area.

7R has completed the sale of 7R Park Goleniów II to Macquarie Asset Management. The BTS (build-to-suit) format warehouse in Goleniów, near Szczecin, comprises of 62,500 sqm of logistics space and 3,100 sqm of office space. The facility is fully leased to FIEGE, a German mail-order retailer and global e-commerce giant. The price has not been disclosed. This is the second deal between Macquarie Asset Management and 7R closed within the last few months. In August 2022, the investor also acquired the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I facility.

The courier, express and postal (CEP) parcel market in Poland has been enjoying continuous, double-digit growth for several years, and its value has already exceeded PLN 17 billion, according to the latest "Polish CEP Report 2022", prepa­red by Last Mile Experts, 7R and Cushman & Wakefield. Among the factors that most significantly influence the development of the last mile supply segment, experts point to the dynamic growth of the e-commerce sector, which has become one of the key purchasing channels for consumers and deter­mines the increase in demand for this type of service.

At the beginning of October, Michał Białas will take the position of Head of Business Development at 7R warehouse developer. The new head of business development in the company has many years of experience in the real estate sector, specializing in structuring, financing and transaction execution. At 7R, he will be responsible for the development of the real estate portfolio and tenants, as well as the implementation of the company's development strategy in key markets.
