Massive construction worth billions of crowns is being prepared around the route of the new D metro line, which is currently under construction in Prague. The company Reflecta Development will build buildings with apartments and offices on lucrative land near the Thomayer Hospital for restituents, reports the daily E15.cz.

Cordia has begun its latest large scale urban regeneration project, the revitalization of the site of the former Modena garment factory in Poznań, Poland. 

Trei Real Estate Poland has launched its first investment in Poland in the private rented sector. The property located at ul. Piątkowska in Poznań is to be ready in 2025. The developer plans to build 450 apartments, which will be available in the institutional lease formula.

Asking prices of apartments in Romania fell by 0.3% in June compared to the previous month, with the average listing price of a property reaching €1,745 per sqm. 

Duna House has released its monthly transaction estimate, showing that there were 10,859 residential property transactions in Hungary in June 2022. This marks a 13% decline over May and a 20% drop compared to the number of transactions recorded last June.

A new residential area is to be built on the site of the former Matador enamel factory in Bratislava. Development company Oxio promises to build 2,300 flats including infrastructure on an area of 10 hectares. The part called Smaltovna already has a building permit, the developer announced.

Romanian developer Iulius will develop a new residential building in Iași, close to Palas Campus office project, based on the architectural complex designed by UNStudio. 

Skanska will invest CZK 970 million in the first phase of the brownfield residential project Modřanský cukrovar. On the right bank of the river Vltava, 112 apartments and seven commercial premises within the area of 10,500 sqm will be built. After six phases of the project, there will be 797 housing units, Skanska announced on its website. 

STC Partners will invest more than €20 million in a new residential complex comprising over 200 apartments in Bucharest. The first development phase of Quartier Azuga will kick off in October 2022 and is slated for delivery in the first semester of 2024, while the entire project should be completed in early 2025. Crosspoint Real Estate has been appointed exclusive sales agent. 

Palmovka in Prague 8 and Nové Dvory in Prague 4 are the largest areas where Prague development company (PDS – Pražská developerská společnost) plans the largest changes and development of new districts. PDS is preparing projects in a total of 12 localities where up to 8,000 urban rental flats should be built, announced the company director Petr Urbánek together with the Deputy Mayor of Prague, Petr Hlaváček at a press conference.
