Penta Real Estate and the XPlace platform owned by the Archdiocese of Prague, have decided to continue their cooperation in developing rental housing. XPlace has agreed to acquire two apartment buildings with 62 residential units in the Nová Waltrovka in Prague 5. 

Hungarian developer Cordia plans to add over 1,000 apartments this year, in Budapest, with three-quarters of this supply hitting the market in the first quarter alone. This expansion will increase the availability of new homes in the city by 20% compared to the end-of-year stock.

Penta Real Estate is planning to continue its development activities in Prague 6, in the Veleslavín area. For this purpose the developer is establishing a joint venture with Radek Pokorný and his new development group Engine Prague Development.

Mlynské Nivy quarter in Bratislava is undergoing significant changes. The former industrial and warehouse area of Bratislava is becoming an attractive urban district with thousands of apartments, workplaces, shops and services. The extensive Mlynárka project from YIT Slovakia is developed here in several stages, the first of which has already completed its first important step, reports Yimba.sk.

Immocap is starting the first works on a plot of land in downtown Bratislava, between Bottova and Landererova streets. The developer is preparing the plot of land to become home to a new energy-efficient office building, a designer residence, and an urban forest. 

Sales of houses and apartments increased by 7.6% in Bucharest and Ilfov region, in 2024, compared to 2023, according to an analysis by SVN Romania. During the same period, national sales increased by 6.6%.
