More and more companies are returning to their offices by implementing a hybrid model of work. The prolonged use of this working model has translated into a lower volume of transactions. The technology sector still remains the most active. Advisory company JLL summarizes the situation and future development perspectives for the Polish office market at the end of Q3 2021.

Some 54% of employees in Romania prefer a flexible mix that does not overpass 75% of their work time in remote conditions, according to a regional survey commissioned by real estate consultancy CBRE.

Consequently, the seat of AstraZeneca Pharma Poland in Warsaw will amount to ca. 21,000 sqm, which represents more than 60% of the building’s entire area.

Companies have signed more new leases agreements and are keen to use ''flex'' spaces before taking up their target office space. Nooka Space start-up has announced the launch of the largest network of smart proximity offices in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca. 

Total demand on Budapest’s office market reached 81,500 sqm in Q3 2021, representing a 17% decrease quarter-on-quarter, but a 3% increase year-on-year. New leases overpowered regarding the share of total leasing activity with 60%, reveals fresh data by the Budapest Research Forum.
