The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is supporting the first special opportunities-focused real estate fund in the Baltic region that will back energy efficient projects.

Polish convenience store chain Żabka made its highly anticipated debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, offering 448 million shares and raising PLN 6.99 billion (€1.6 billion), with the potential to increase to PLN 7.42 billion (€1.7 billion) The debut was marked by a 7% stock price rise.

Romanian construction group Bog’Art has published its first sustainability report that outlines the company’s results and objectives under the ESG development framework. 

Ozimska Park, a 17,000 sqm GLA facility built in Opole by Redkom Development and delivered in November 2023, has been sold. The new owner is Newgate Investment, which is successively expanding its portfolio of retail properties. It currently includes 33 projects located in various Polish cities. The price has not been disclosed.

Hils Development, the real estate group owned by Romanian entrepreneur Ionuț Negoiță, has purchased two land plots spanning 12 ha in western Bucharest. 

Big CEE, a subsidiary of Big Shopping Centers, has purchased Promenada shopping mall in Novi Sad from Nepi Rockcastle for €177 million, in a record transaction for the Serbian retail market. 

Panattoni has finalized the sale of City Logistics Warsaw IV, a 39,000-square-meter logistics complex located in Warsaw. The buyer is an international entity specializing in real estate investments. The transaction is valued at €53.5 million. 

MLP Group S.A. has successfully closed its debut senior green notes offering, worth €300 million (approximately PLN 1.3 billion). Citi and Santander Group acted as Global Coordinators and Physical Bookrunners for the issue.

Newport Logistics Fund, an investment company, announced the launch of Newport Logistics Fund III, a pan-European fund that will finance the development, leasing and sale of sustainable logistics properties.

Gestor, a Hungarian private real estate investment and asset management company has acquired the Portal Mediterraneo retail park in Spain from Mitiska REIM. Savills acted as an intermediary in the successful transaction.
