VGP has completed the final phase of VGP Park Olomouc by handing over Hall E to Mapei. VGP Park Olomouc with a connection to the D46 highway has been offering offers spaces for production, logistics and business activities. 

Industrial developer CTP has handed over a new 100,000 sqm logistics centre in Hungary to British retailer Tesco.

Panattoni will begin construction of a new park in the Silesian Voivodeship in December – Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V. The project will ultimately include two buildings with a total area of over 52,000 sqm. The first tenant is Hebe, for whom a build-to-suit distribution centre will be developed as part of the facility. 

Panattoni and E.G.O., one of the suppliers of components for domestic appliance manufacturers, are starting the construction of a new production facility in Łódź. The investment is valued at over PLN 100 million (ca. €23 million).

The demand for industrial space has been still below the five-year average in the third quarter of this year, published Colliers in its regular quarterly industrial real estate market report. However, the first signs of market recovery have appeared and the number of concluded contracts has grown slightly. 

P3 Logistic Parks has begun construction of a new warehouse with a total area of nearly 27,000 sqm at P3 Poznan Park for ochama, the European omni-channel retail brand of JD.com.

The Polish industrial and logistics market demonstrated resilience in the first three quarters of 2024. During this period, 2.1 million sqm of new warehouse space was delivered, expanding the sector’s total stock to nearly 34 million sqm (+9% Y/Y). Currently, 1.9 million sqm are under construction (-22% Y/Y), marking the second-lowest development activity since early 2018. Despite challenges, leasing activity remained stable at 3.8 million sqm, with a vacancy rate of 8.0% (+30 bps Y/Y) at the end of September 2024, says Axi Immo. 

According to the latest report from Cushman & Wakefield, Poland recorded the second-highest industrial take-up in Europe between January and September 2024. Looking ahead, robust demand, coupled with a decline in speculative construction, is likely to tighten the availability of warehouse space for lease.

7R and EQT Exeter are jointly developing a two-building 56,000 sqm logistics scheme located along the D8 Motorway servicing Greater Prague.

Panattoni has been granted a €75 mln loan by Citibank (London Branch). The funds are to finance Panattoni Park Sulechów III.
