Cushman & Wakefield is further expanding its presence in the Czech Republic. It will open a new regional office in the Trinity Office Center in the centre of Brno. Its focus will be on regional office market, but will offer to its clients consulting services from other real estate sectors as well. Lukáš Netolický will be leading the office and at the same time becomes the Head of Regional Cities CZ. The new office will open in March 2018. Cushman & Wakefield is therefore responding to the steadily growing trend of regional market development fuelled by the economic growth. Brno is the most active city in terms of demand, followed by Ostrava.

JLL is expanding its scope of hotel services in Poland. Agata Janda, who joined JLL at the beginning of 2018 as Head of Hotel Advisory, will be responsible for growing JLL’s involvement in this sector.

CBRE Romania has appointed Ana Dumitrache as the leader of the company’s investments department. Dumitrache has recently left CTP Romania where she served as Co-Country Head for 14 months.

CTP announced changes and the expansion of its management team, both local and international. Ana Dumitrache, who has been the company’s Romanian Co-Country Head for 14 months, will leave CTP on 1 February to pursue a new career opportunity. Company COO Robert Pitt will take over the tasks of Ana Dumitrache. Remon Vos, CEO of CTP and Country Head for Romania will continue his position.

CPI Property Group announced the appointment of Mr. David Greenbaum to the role of the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Colliers International has strengthened its management structure in Poland. In recognition of their business achievements and contribution to building company value, all nine of Colliers’ Partners in Poland will now be referred to as Senior Partners, which is a newly created position.

Laurentiu Lazar, Senior Partner, Investment and Valuation Services, will take over as the new Managing Partner of Colliers International Romania, effective as of March. Ilinca Paun, the current Managing Partner, will remain Member of the Board and will focus on her activity at Entrepreneurship Academy, where she will operate as CEO.

Plaza Centers announced that CEO Dori Keren will retire from his position at the end of March 2018.

Griffin Real Estate has changed its organisational and management structure, propertynews.pl reports. Founder and former CEO Przemyslaw Krych has sold its stake in Griffin Real Estate, having previously resigned from all positions held in the company and related entities. The move follows Krych’s detainment by Poland’s Central Anticorruption Bureau in December on unspecified charges. 

JLL has appointed Peter Nitschneider as Country Manager of its Slovak business, based in Bratislava, with effect from 1 January 2018.
