Andrei Văcaru has been promoted to Head of Capital Markets JLL Romania, effective 1st August 2018. Andrei has over 13 years’ experience in the Romanian real estate market which spans over different segments including capital markets, consultancy, retail leasing and retail tenant representation.


He joined JLL in May 2007 as Senior Consultant in the Retail Department. He then managed the JLL Retail team in Romania and, afterwards, the Research and Consultancy departments.

Andrei Vacaru is responsible for sourcing and executing investment transactions in Romania. He provides advisory services for disposals and acquisitions, portfolio transactions, as well as financing deals, throughout the entire transaction process. He has over 13 years’ experience on the Romanian real estate market which spans over different segments including capital markets, consultancy, retail leasing and retail tenant representation.  More »
Since joining the Capital Markets team in 2014, Andrei has contributed to landmark transactions like the sale of Militari Shopping Center (€95 million), Radisson Hospitality Complex (cca €170 million), Sibiu Shopping City (€100 million), Europolis Park (over €100 million), Promenada (€148 million).

Silviana Badea has over 12 years of experience on the real estate market. Throughout her career, she has been involved in all aspects of property asset management on one side and advisory on the other side. Her specialities are disposal and acquisitions, office and industrial leasing negotiation, property and asset management, financing, property reporting and development. Her most significant assignments since joining JLL are the completion of the sale of Victoria Center to GLL, Buy Side Advisory for GLL on Floreasca Park, Due Diligence for Logicor on the acquisition of the Immofinanz CEE Portfolio, Financing of Sibiu Retail Park. More »
The JLL Romania Capital Markets team has advised on transactions with a total volume of close to €1 billion in the last 4 years. The team comprises of senior professionals specialized in structuring transparent competitive sales processes, strategic consultancy and debt advisory.

New leases

  • The DigestMed medical centre, specialising in gastroenterology services, has opened a clinic spanning over 675 sqm within the Bucharest-based London Office Building, part of the EVO Properties multifunctional hub, following an investment of €1.5 million.
  • Focus Estate Fund has signed a new lease agreement with HalfPrice, the off-price retailer, for approximately 2,000 sqm of modern retail space at Sosnowiec Plaza in Sosnowiec, Poland.
  • Ford Polska has extended its lease agreement, until 2031, for nearly 1,200 sqm of office space in Warsaw's Diuna, part of the Syrena Real Estate portfolio. It is one of the first tenants of the Służewiec complex, having operated continuously at this location since February 2008.

New appointments

  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
  • CPI Property Group is strengthening its leasing structure with the appointment of Agnieszka Baczyńska as Head of Leasing. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping and executing the leasing strategy across the group’s office and retail portfolio in Poland. At the same time, Izabela Potrykus has been appointed Leasing Office Director. Baczyńska brings more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate market. Prior to joining CPI Property Group in 2022, she served as International Leasing Director at Neinver Polska.
