International law firm CMS has bolstered its real estate and construction practice with the addition of a team of 10 lawyers in Poland. CMS will be joined by three respected partners, each with many years of experience and an established market reputation: Agata Jurek-Zbrojska, Małgorzata Madej-Balcerowska, and Dominik Rafałko. Agata Jurek-Zbrojska will head CMS’s real estate and construction practice in Poland, which she will manage in close co-operation with partners Lidia Dziurzyńska-Leipert – who leads international development for CEE Real Estate, Michał Mieciński, Małgorzata Madej-Balcerowska, and Dominik Rafałko.

CTP Romania, the largest owner of industrial projects on the local market, has appointed Sorina Florescu as Head of Marketing as part of its management consolidation strategy.

Globe Trade Centre promoted Ede Gulyás to the position of County Manager, Hungary. He will take over the operations of GTC in the local market end-to-end, following the resignation of Robert Snow, a former member of the Management Board and Country Manager in Hungary.

Zeitgeist Asset Management has announced that on January 1st, 2022, Maximilian Mendel, one of the most experienced practitioners in PRS, student housing and other fields in the living sector, will assume the position of Managing Director of their Polish subsidiary.

Meta Estate Trust, the Romanian property investment holding, has appointed Raluca Drăgan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She has more than 17 years’ worth of experience in the financial sector, and she has previously held the CFO position at One United Properties. 

Michał Kwinta, who has been with Mindspace since the inception of its Polish branch, has been promoted to City Lead Poland. In his new role he will be responsible for implementing Mindspace’s global strategy in Poland and for continuing the development of Mindspace’s network in Warsaw.

Real estate consultancy CBRE has named Joanna Sinkiewicz as Head of Industrial and Logistics for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). 

Felix Stroe is the new Operational Country Manager of VGP Romania starting October 1st. He is an experienced civil engineer with extensive experience in construction management.
