CBRE South-Eastern Europe (CBRE SEE), a direct subsidiary of CBRE Group, has announced the establishment of a new local office in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

CBRE SEE has decided to open a fourth local office in Southeast Europe. Although the company has already operated in this market, in this way CBRE SEE will strengthen the coverage of its services.

On the occasion of the opening of the new office Boško Tomašević, Managing Director, CBRE SEE, said: "The continuation of the expansion is a clear indicator of the progress of our company, but also of the development of the real estate market in the region. I am especially pleased that the opening of the office in Ljubljana comes less than a year after our expansion in Croatia. CBRE’s main focus is providing quality service to our clients and supporting their business growth, in various markets. With the knowledge of the local business environment, combined with the experience and the resources of the worldwide CBRE network, this expansion will contribute to the significant growth of the Slovenian real estate market, and local and overseas investments.”

Ivana Maksimović, Head of Property Management and Retail, CBRE SEE, emphasised: "In this way, we will strengthen the cooperation with existing clients and provide a solid platform for further growth in the Slovenian market. Property Management as well as Retail and Office Agency will be a backbone of our business in Slovenia at the beginning, but we plan to build up the other services offer in nearest future. Our key focus is on building a highly professional on-site team in the country, and we are happy that we were able to attract experienced real estate professionals from the local market, with property management, operations, marketing and leasing background.”

In 2018, CBRE established a fully owned regional office in Belgrade, Serbia to provide a full range of property advisory services to international and domestic clients in South-Eastern Europe (SEE). The office covers key markets including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia & Hercegovina and Albania. Prior to opening the office in Ljubljana, CBRE SEE opened its office in Sofia, Bulgaria at the end of 2019, as in Zagreb, Croatia, in April 2021.
