M7 Real Estate, acting on behalf of M7 CEREF II, acquired a city warehouse in Poznań from a private individual. Avison Young's investment team introduced the property and represented the buyer.

Wing has completed the first Hungarian unit of B&B Hotels, having converted the former Angyal office building in Boráros Square, on the bank of the Danube in Budapest. The new hotel will welcome its first guests in the summer of 2021.

The hotel sector in Romania in on the recovery path following the steep drop in demand recorded in 2020 due to lockdown measures designed to contain the pandemic. Despite the health crisis, few projects have been abandoned, while deliveries of new hotels were delayed or postponed. 

In the first year of the pandemic, the construction market of the SEE region as a whole remained in the positive, and further expansion is expected until 2023. The only exception is Bulgaria where a harsh transition is foreseen for 2023 when the 2014-2020 EU programming period ends financially. The massive growth experienced in the years before 2020 is not anticipated to return. around 3% growth is projected for 2021 and 2022, and a 3% drop for 2023. The countries with the largest cumulated growth on the forecast horizon are Croatia and Serbia, according to the Eastern European Construction Forecasting Association’s 2021 Summer Construction Forecast Report.

The sentiment of Hungarian real estate investors is becoming more and more optimistic, which is reflected in their continuously increasing willingness to invest, according to CBRE's survey. Offices are expected to remain the most traded asset type, but demand for alternative investment opportunities has increased significantly. The biggest challenges of the coming year may be pricing asymmetry between sellers and buyers, as well as a lack of stock for sale.

CTP has provided tailor-made logistics space to international technology and services provider Bosch. The company has leased a distribution centre in one of the largest industrial parks in the Czech Republic. Bosch will move its operations from the Netherlands to CTPark Bor in Western Bohemia, where it will have over 15,000 sqm of lettable area.

Globalworth has completed the process of updating the BREEAM certification of its Polish office buildings. In the first half of this year, another 17 buildings in the company’s office portfolio in the country obtained BREEAM In-Use certificates at the ‘Excellent’ level.
