The Hilton hotel network has unveiled plans to open two new Hampton by Hilton hotels in Poland, following the signing of two franchise agreements.

Vision Apartments announced it signed the purchase agreement of the former Ramada Bucharest Majestic Hotel. The company didn't disclose the value of the transaction.

Speedwell obtained the WELL v2 pre-certification for MIRO, a Class A office project developed by the Belgian company in the northern part of Bucharest.

Hagag Development Europe has started the construction works for the reconversion of the property it owns in the University area. H Tudor Arghezi 21 is the second office project that the company is developing on the local market, and the investment amounts to over €4 million.

Hungarian lender OTP Bank is providing the largest project financing loan to date for the development of the Duna Terasz Grande apartment complex in Budapest. According to the financing agreement signed recently, OTP provides a HUF 23 billion (appr. €62.8 million) loan for developer D&B Ingatlanfejlesztő-Group. The 790-apartment project is the largest waterfront residential development in the 13th district. It will be handed over in 2023.

COVID-19 has slowed the activity of office developers, but intensified competition in the residential land market.
