After receiving the building permit for STOP SHOP Zielona Góra, IMMOFINANZ, the owner of the STOP SHOP retail park brand, chose Mirbud as the general contractor for this project. The construction site was officially taken over by the contractor and construction works have started. The opening of the retail park with a total of 12 stores on nearly 6,700 sqm of space available for lease is planned for spring 2022.

In the first stage of construction works, earthworks will be carried out related to the levelling of the area to one elevation and related to soil stabilization and foundation works.

“Mirbud is our proven business partner with whom we have successfully completed a similar project in Siedlce. This is why we are convinced that our good cooperation will continue on the occasion of the Zielona Góra investment”, commented Magdalena Kowalewska, Country Manager Operations Poland, IMMOFINANZ. “In addition, it is worth mentioning that by deciding to build a retail park in Zielona Góra, we are not only expanding the commercial offer for residents, but also support the city in the reconstruction of the Szosa Kieślińska section of the road, improving not only access to our retail park, but overall improving road infrastructure in town”, she added.

STOP SHOP Zielona Góra will be located in the dynamically developing eastern part of the city, right next to the popular Pomorskie housing estate, at Szosa Kieślińska, which connects the city center, near the Orląt Lwowskich roundabout. Access to the retail park will also be possible from Kętrzyńska Street, which connects this part of the city with the S3 expressway. The total reach of the new STOP SHOP is estimated at over 270,000 people. This means that this many customers will be able to reach the new retail park within 30 minutes by car.

There will be approx. 160 parking spaces directly in front of the STOP SHOP. The project in Zielona Góra will be implemented in the vicinity of the existing supermarket and DYI store, which, thanks to the complementary offer, will allow customers to fulfil their wide shopping needs in one place.
