Multi Corporation, one of the largest commercial asset management companies in Europe, announced the completion of a management buyout from funds managed by Blackstone.

Czech investor PPF Real Estate has purchased a construction site land with a building permit in Bucharest, for the development of a new office building named ARC from property developer RC Europe. The project is due for completion in 2024 following an estimated investment of €60 million. 

Warimpex, a real estate development and investment company based in Vienna, has appointed Savills as the exclusive leasing adviser for office space in its new office complex located in Białystok at the junction of Bohaterów Monte Cassino and Wyszyńskiego streets. The phased project is expected to break ground this year.

Real estate advisory firm Savills anticipates that some of the immediate knock-on effects of the war in Ukraine on the Polish logistics market will include sustained demand for new warehouse projects amid construction difficulties and a prospect of rental growth in ready-to-occupy facilities.

The influx of refugees has resulted in further demand on Poland’s already fast-paced residential market. At the same time, fears over a prolonged or escalated crisis might decrease investment activity in the short run. The office complex BB Centrum in Prague 4, newly renamed Brumlovka, will be expanded by two more buildings. The developer Passerinvest, which has been building here for three decades, plans to build multifunctional buildings Hila and Orion, reports local daily E15.

Property group Prime Kapital has secured a green club loan of €125 million for its development joint-venture with listed property investor MAS plc. 

According to Savills latest report, 2021 was the best year on record for the Czech industrial market in terms of tenancy activity, despite the low volume of new completions and extremely low vacancy rate. Gross take-up totalled a staggering 2.32 million sqm, being 53% higher than the previous record of 1.55 million sqm seen in 2020. Annual net take-up (excl. renewals) reached 1.48 million sqm, a 46% increase over the former record of 1.01 million sqm registered in 2017, Savills reports.
