Andreea Păun, Managing Partner of Griffes, spoke with Property Forum about the outlook of rents and new office developments in Bucharest as well as the demand trends. This year, Griffes aims to close 10% more leasing deals with a combined value of more than €20 million.

UDI Group is adding another project to its portfolio. It will build a suburban retail centre in the village of Líbeznice north of Prague. According to the developer, a similar centre with a supermarket and several smaller retail units at one address with quality parking facilities is still missing in this village of 3,000 inhabitants. UDI Group estimates the investment at CZK 100 million (€4.2 million).

Bulgaria, with its growing economy and increasing consumer spending, has witnessed a recent surge in the construction of retail parks across the country. A total of 13 projects are under active construction and another 9 are at different stages of planning. The outlook for the retail park market in Bulgaria over the next year is positive, according to the latest report by Colliers.

Panattoni has completed the construction of the sixth building in the K-FLEX production and storage centre in Uniejów and together with the client has held the formal opening ceremony. With the newly completed 33,000 sqm of warehouse space, the complex in Uniejów now comprises more than 100,000 sqm

Hungarian property developer and investor Indotek Group has appointed Tamás Simon as the new Sales and Leasing Director. He will be responsible for leasing spaces in offices, warehouses and logistics centres managed by the Group. He will continue to oversee the leasing activities of the retail centres owned by Indotek.

The Supervisory Board of CA Immo has decided on the reclassification of Hungary to strategically non-core, and simultaneously authorised the Management Board to initiate all relevant activities related to exiting the market, either through platform sale, sub-portfolio sale, or individual asset sales. The company wants to concentrate on its core portfolio, located predominantly in Austria and Germany. Last autumn the firm abandoned another CEE market, Romania.

The Le Meridian brand will offer 102 rooms and is scheduled to be open in 2025, telex. hu reports. This will be Marriott's first Hungarian hotel outside Budapest.

Neinver and Nuveen Real Estate have successfully raised around €170 million in debt financing for the Polish portfolio of Neptune, a joint venture between Neinver and TIAA.
