Panattoni has started the development of a third building with an area of almost 40,000 sqm in the Panattoni Park Bielsko Biała IV park. As much as 22,000 sqm is to be leased by Polmotors. The company is to employ around 1,000 people in a factory, which is to serve markets across the globe. Upon completion, the Panattoni Park Bielsko Biała IV development is to comprise three buildings with a combined area of over 100,000 sqm. The complex is almost fully commercialised.

The Czech government has approved the provision of CZK 800 million (€34.27 million) to a programme to support the construction of rental housing. Within 10 or 12 years, Penta wants to complete its brand new Southbank mixed-use project in Bratislava. The commencement of the construction of Southbank now depends on the permitting process and ongoing changes to the master plan, which are being overseen by the Bratislava City Council. Once the zoning changes are approved, construction could start within 1.5 to 2 years, estimates Michal Rehak, Business Director of Penta Real Estate Bratislava. According to him, the company does not want to disclose the cost of the project or the detailed schedule until the new Bratislava master plan is approved.

The owner of the former Radetzky-barracks, Market Group has topped out the development of this mixed-use property. The 19th-century building will be transformed into a high-class hotel and office complex, portfolio.hu reports.

Panattoni launched the construction of Panattoni Park Lublin IV in March. Eventually, the centre will comprise almost 55,000 sqm. The main support for the development is €32.8 million of financing from Alior Bank.

VGP has concluded a lease contract with Dachser Czech Republic for the lease of new space in VGP Park České Budějovice, situated in the Světlík commercial zone. The hall, with an area of 14,000 sqm will be tailor-made for Dachser, a leading provider of logistic services in Europe. The expected completion date and delivery of premises for use is already in October of this year. The company currently leases another hall in the park, with a total area of 9,424 sqm and with the new building will be expanding its operations at that same location.

Ghelamco has announced changes in the management board of its Polish companies. As of 14 April 2023, Paul Gheysens, owner and founder of Ghelamco, took over as President of the Management Board, and Jarosław Zagórski became the new Managing Director, replacing Jeroen van der Toolen in this position. The board was also expanded with the addition of new members: Michael Gheysens, Marie-Julie Gheysens, Chris Heggerick and Rafał Gierczak.

2022 saw an almost complete recovery of Croatia’s tourism industry with only 2% fewer overnight stays than in 2019. Hotels were almost at full capacity (98% open). In the summer season, hotels achieved 5% higher revenues than in 2019, primarily through an increase in occupancy of 25% (to 79%) compared to the 2021 season, which means a 9% gap compared to the occupancy of 2019, CBS International, part of Cushman & Wakefield Group reports..
