Real estate investments in Romania reached €205.75 million during Q1 2024, up 33% year-on-year, driven by the retail sector, shows a Fortim Trusted Advisors report.

CTP has expanded its Polish land bank by nearly half a million sqm. The company has purchased investment land in four strategic locations that provide the opportunity to build approximately 200,000 sqm of leasable space in the short term, with this land in Łódź, Toruń and the Warsaw agglomeration ready to start the development process. This land acquisition is part of CTP's strategy announced last year to invest €300 million in Poland to grow its warehouse portfolio - a key growth market for CTP. 

Panattoni has begun construction on a new industrial park in Będzin. The first stage of the work has already been launched and is to be completed in September. It will comprise a 27,500 sqm building constructed on a speculative basis. The total area of the park is to come to 87,500 sqm. 

A new shopping centre called OCKE is to be developed in Košice, reports DennikE.sk. Provided that the permitting process and following construction are successful, it is going to be the second-largest shopping centre in the Eastern Slovakia metropolis.

Julius Meinl Living has completed the purchase of Ambasador Hotel in Bucharest, with the project set to undergo a major revamp and reopen as The Julius Bucharest in 2027.

Romanian developer One United Properties said its residential sales and pre-sales volumes totaled €57.1 million in Q1 2024, down by around 10% year-on-year.

The Czech property investment market has been quite quiet during the past months. Segro has extended the lease agreement with Ikea in its park in Hostivice. The furniture dispensing warehouse has been located in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague since 2014.

Passerinvest Group has opened the Roztyly Plaza office building, approved in March, to its tenants. It is located in Prague 11, next to the metro station Roztyly.

Redkom Development finalised the sale of Park Glinianka in Łubna in the southern suburbs of Warsaw. The facility was purchased by CEE-BIG B.V. The price has not been disclosed.
