WeWork, flexible workspace provider, has become the sole tenant of office space in the Western Building of the Mennica Legacy Tower, a modern office complex being built by Golub GetHouse and Mennica Polska S.A. at the junction of Prosta and Żelazna streets in Warsaw.

After almost two decades AEW Europe decided to sell Atrium Tower office building located in Warsaw. The new owner of the property is VIG FUND, the real estate investment vehicle of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG). Real estate advisor Savills represented AEW Europe in the transaction.

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed on an exclusive basis to sell the Zepter Business Center, an office building at ul. Domaniewskia 37 in Warsaw.

Generali Real Estate acquired Małachowski Square office building from Europa Capital Partners and White Star Real Estate, with Savills acting as the buyer’s commercial advisor.

Panattoni Europe has embarked on the construction of City Logistics Warsaw I, planned to total 26,000 sqm. Completion of construction works and delivery to the tenants is planned for the coming October.

Almost 425,000 sqm of modern office space was leased in Warsaw in H1 2018 while an additional 700,000 sqm of offices remain under construction. Rents increase on a par with decreasing vacancy rate. Last June, Cushman & Wakefield was appointed as an exclusive commercialisation agent for building “B” of the LIXA office complex being developed by Yareal in Warsaw’s Wola district. The first phase of the development project (buildings A and B) comprising 27,900 sqm of leasable space is expected to be delivered to the market in Q3 2020.

Globalworth Poland announced the acquisition of Spektrum Tower in Warsaw from Europa Capital for €101 million. With this acquisition, the combined value of the company's portfolio is now broadly split between Romania and Poland.

Panattoni Europe commenced the construction of a new distribution centre near Warsaw. Completion of the first part of the investment is anticipated in February 2019. The lease transaction was mediated by the advisory firm JLL.
