Hungarian serviced offices operator enters Poland

NewWork, a serviced offices operator from Hungary, opened their first location in Poland. 3,200 sqm of flexible office space is now available in Warsaw's Wilanów in Wilanów Office Park. NewWork plans to continue their expansion in the Polish capital city and open another 10,000 sqm of serviced office space by the end of 2018.

Savills to manage M7’s Polish portfolio

Hansainvest acquires Warsaw office building from Skanska

Hansainvest Real Assets GmbH has acquired Generation Park X, the first building of Generation Park, a prime office project located in Warsaw, Poland. It is the investor’s second acquisition in Poland, as well as its second from Skanska. The transaction volume was around €83 million.

Strong appetite for Warsaw office space

This year’s total supply is expected to surpass 300,000 sqm, office take-up rose in the first three quarters of 2017 by 11.2% compared with the same period of 2016 and the vacancy rate is falling, shows the latest report by tenant-only advisory firm Cresa. Poland’s retail market closes strong quarter

In Q3 the modern retail market in Poland grew by nearly 140,000 sqm of GLA. This is a significant increase as compared to the first half of the year when only a mere 26,000 sqm of GLA within 5 schemes were completed. Notably, the first IKEA store was delivered in Lublin with the residents of Poland’s eastern regions in mind. According to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, the end of the year is set to bring more than 200,000 of GLA sqm in new retail projects.

Wola is becoming increasingly popular

In Q3 2017, the stock of modern office space in Warsaw has increased by more than 76,000 sqm and thus exceeded the 5.3 million sqm threshold. By the end of the year, another 80,000 sqm may appear on the largest office market of Poland, which would mean a total of 5.4 million sqm. The key market development trends, according to the report by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, are the consistently improving position of the Wola district on the local office market and the growing popularity of co-working projects located in the best schemes.

New leases

  • Mindspace, a global operator of flexible office spaces, has signed a long-term lease agreement with Karimpol Polska for nearly 4,500 sqm of space in the Warsaw-based Skyliner II. Mindspace was advised by Gide Loyrette Nouel law firm, while Argon Legal provided legal advice to Karimpol.
  • Sygnity will take over new office space in Building B of the West Forum complex in Wrocław. The tenant, which has been present at the site for nearly 20 years, has opted to relocate within the development and sign a new long-term lease agreement. Sygnity was represented in the transaction by Patron Brokers, while BNM Real Estate serves as the exclusive agent for West Forum.
  • The M1 Zabrze shopping centre, managed by EPP, has signed new leases covering 2,500 sqm. This includes CentrumRowerowe.pl, which will occupy 2,150 sqm for a new stationary showroom. The tenant group at M1 has also been joined by Alpine Pro, Świat Książki, and Wakacje.pl.

New appointments

  • CTP Romania has appointed Diane-Monique Forrest as Business Developer. She will focus on leasing activities in Transylvania, covering key cities such as Timișoara, Arad, Sibiu, and Deva.
  • iO Partners has announced the appointment of Róbert Cesnek as Head of Capital Markets in Slovakia, effective from January 2026. In his new role, he will focus on further strengthening market presence, advising clients on complex investment decisions and delivering high-impact transactions across asset classes.
  • Mateusz Sobczak has joined Scallier’s operations in Poland as Project Manager within the Development Department. Sobczak is an experienced engineer with 15 years of professional practice in project management within the commercial real estate sector. Throughout his career to date, he has collaborated with leading logistics developers, including the MLP Group and 7R.
