Panattoni Europe has embarked on the construction of City Logistics Warsaw I, planned to total 26,000 sqm. Completion of construction works and delivery to the tenants is planned for the coming October.

Almost 425,000 sqm of modern office space was leased in Warsaw in H1 2018 while an additional 700,000 sqm of offices remain under construction. Rents increase on a par with decreasing vacancy rate. Globalworth Poland announced the acquisition of Spektrum Tower in Warsaw from Europa Capital for €101 million. With this acquisition, the combined value of the company's portfolio is now broadly split between Romania and Poland.

The landlord representation team at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland will be responsible for leasing vacant space as exclusive agent in the Europlex and Irydion office buildings and the A building in the Wiśniowy Business Park complex in Warsaw.

Panattoni Europe commenced the construction of a new distribution centre near Warsaw. Completion of the first part of the investment is anticipated in February 2019. The lease transaction was mediated by the advisory firm JLL.

Panattoni Europe has sold another logistics facility, Panattoni Park Warsaw West V totalling 70,000 sqm. The buyer is a Dutch company controlled by one of the leading global real estate investment firms, for whom this is the first investment in the Polish warehouse market.

In Q1 2018, Warsaw’s vacancy rate fell to its lowest in five years while absorption amounted to 45,000 sqm, down by nearly 30% on the average observed over the last five years, according to Cresa.

CPI Property Group announced the acquisition of Atrium Centrum & Atrium Plaza office buildings in Warsaw, Poland. Atrium Centrum & Atrium Plaza are seven-storey office buildings located in the centre of Warsaw. The two office buildings have an aggregate GLA of 31,869 sqm and include a medical centre, a restaurant, a bank, a pharmacy, a premium fashion store and 410 parking lots. CPIPG worked directly with the seller, which was a fund under the management of Peakside Capital Advisors.
