Panattoni invests again in the Warsaw area. The planned Panattoni A2 East Warsaw Park will total 80,000 sqm of space. One of the first tenants – a well-known logistics operator – set to move in as soon as Q3 2020.

Panattoni continues to invest in and around Warsaw – the most developed region of Poland for logistics. The developer has announced the construction of A2 East Warsaw Park, to be built in Duchnów, only about 24 km from the Warsaw city centre. The distribution centre planned to total 80,000 sqm will be situated right next to the upcoming Konik junction at the intersection of the A2 motorway with the national road DK2.

“Even though the Warsaw region is the most saturated logistics market in Poland, its appeal remains strong. At present, it provides more than 4.3 million sqm of space out of the 18+ million square metres built to date nationwide, and the demand for more is not waning. Especially at the newly built logistics hubs, such as the Konik junction, which without a doubt is bound to play a similar role in the east of Warsaw as the Konotopa junction currently plays in the west,” says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director from Panattoni. The location of the new park will significantly facilitate providing services in eastern Warsaw and satellite towns and villages on the right bank of the Vistula.

Panattoni A2 East Warsaw Park will comprise three halls totalling 80,000 sqm. Class A buildings will allow for flexible adaptation of manufacturing/warehousing units, to satisfy the needs of customers from various business sectors. The buildings will also be BREAAM-certified with a “Very Good” rating. Construction works will commence in the second quarter, and the first tenants will be able to move in by the end of October 2020.
