Cordia, a major player in the Hungarian market owning numerous property developments in Romania and in three Polish cities, has started construction of its tallest residential property ever in Warsaw. Being built on the shore of Vistula river, the 164-apartment premium-class building offers easy access to any part of the Polish capital.

pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank provided an investment loan and a VAT facility of €90 million in total to two real estate funds managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management. JLL has been selected by White Stone Group as property manager for the Celebro office building in Warsaw. The building has already been commissioned for use and its first tenants will relocate to the project in September 2019.

The transaction value is €12.44 million (PLN 54.3 million). The sale process was organized by experts from the international advisory firm JLL representing the vendor.a

Following the acquisition of the Warsaw Spire Tower high-rise, Immofinanz is taking a further step to optimise its office portfolio in Warsaw. A new multifunctional concept was prepared for the EMPARK office location, which originally covered 117,000 sqm of rentable space, to meet the demand for mixed-use through the inclusion of residential and commercial areas. Immofinanz plans to concentrate on the management and further modernisation of the four EMPARK office buildings, while the section designated for housing will be sold to the Polish developer Echo Investment.

Panattoni Europe embarks on the largest project in the Warsaw region. The new facility, A2 Warsaw Park, will total 102,500 sqm of space and will be located next to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Junction and the A2 motorway. The first tenant has already been secured – Raben Logistics Polska, taking up 30 per cent of the space. Project completion is planned for Q1 of 2020.

Parties to the largest lease transaction in the history of the Polish office sector included Golub GetHouse and Mennica Polska SA, investors in the Warsaw-based Mennica Legacy Tower and mBank, which ultimately leased 45,600 sqm of the investment. The building has been fully commercialised a few months before the completion of construction works.
