Panattoni has launched its latest city logistics project in Warsaw. The 18,000 sqm City Logistics Warsaw VI park will be in the city’s industrial neighbourhood. The centre is situated to serve Warsaw’s districts of Praga and Śródmieście – the central part of the city.

pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided an investment loan facility totalling €66.5 million for an office portfolio managed by GalCap Europe on behalf of an institutional client. The fund will utilise the proceeds for the refinancing of a mixed-use portfolio with assets in Budapest and Warsaw. pbb acted as arranger and sole lender under the facility.

After reaching a roof height of 230 metres, Varso Tower became the tallest building in Poland. Now, after the installation of its 73-tonne and 80-metre spire, the Warsaw skyscraper has broken another record, becoming the tallest in the entire EU.

Echo Investment has commissioned a second office building in My Place, a multifunctional project located in the Warsaw's Dolny Mokotów district. As a result, an urban quarter combining offices, residential and commercial premises has been completed.

The refurbishment of the Stratos Office Center, which is situated in the very centre of Warsaw, is nearing completion. Lift foyers on all the floors of the building have been revamped as part of the refurbishment works that are coming to an end. New amenities added to the Stratos Office Center include a Dobro&Dobro café and a fitness room available to tenants. The building will soon see the opening of a two-room conference suite.

Managed by Colliers and owned by AMASI Grundstücksgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG., the Warsaw office building Prosta Office Centre has been awarded a BREEAM certificate at Very Good level. The rating applies to both the Building Efficiency (Part 1) and the Management Efficiency (Part 2) parts of the certificate.

In 2020, office take-up hit its lowest level in ten years amid pandemic headwinds despite the largest-ever single lease contract signed to date and one of the highest volumes of new office space coming onto the Warsaw market on record, says real estate advisory firm Savills. Rents remained resilient and the overall vacancy rate is still below the levels last seen during the previous supply peak five years ago.

In 2020 the coronavirus pandemic pushed Poland into its first recession in 30 years following a GDP contraction of around 2.8%. According to Moody’s forecasts, implications of the second wave of the pandemic will reverberate through the economy also during the first quarter of 2021. Brugnola, a joint venture of Rida Development and Mack Real Estate Group has bought the office complex from A&T Holdings for an undisclosed sum. Apollo-Rida Poland, the Polish branch of Rida Development will be the investment and property manager of the property.
