Immofinanz finds S Immo offer price too low

In early December 2021, S Immo announced a partial takeover to the shareholders of Immofinanz, only three days after a similar offer was made by CPI Property Group. Today, the Executive Board, Supervisory Board and Works Council of Immofinanz have issued statements in which they indicate that the offer price of €23.00 per share is viewed as not sufficiently attractive. The Executive Board and Supervisory Board, therefore, recommend that shareholders not accept the partial offer by S Immo for approximately 10% of the outstanding Immofinanz shares.

TAG Immobilen buys Polish developer ROBYG

TAG Immobilien AG has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire a 100% interest in ROBYG S.A., a leading residential development firm in Poland, for an estimated purchase price of c. PLN 2,500 million (c. €550 million), net of certain adjustments ROBYG's currently secured pipeline consists of c. 23,000 residential units across four Polish cities, enabling TAG to a meaningful market entry into Warsaw.

S Immo to launch partial takeover offer to Immofinanz shareholders

S Immo AG announced today that a partial takeover offer shall be launched to the shareholders of Immofinanz AG. The decision to make the partial offer is made after the anticipatory mandatory takeover offer announced by CPI Property Group on 3 December 2021. S Immo does not consider the price offered in the mandatory offer attractive.

CPIPG becomes largest shareholder of Immofinanz and plans takeover

CPI Property Group has announced an anticipatory mandatory takeover offer for all outstanding shares of Immofinanz AG. Shareholders are to be offered €21.20 in cash per Immofinanz share. Immofinanz said that it will review the offer in detail and will comment on it in due course in accordance with the Austrian Takeover Act.

CPIPG and Aroundtown become majority owners of Globalworth

CPI Property Group and Aroundtown notified Globalworth of a series of transactions in respect of their existing holdings which have resulted in Zakiono, an entity indirectly owned by the consortium holding a total of 51.50% of the shares in the company. Zakiono now itself holds sufficient voting rights to exert statutory control over the company, including in due course the ability to appoint and remove directors from the board.

Latest news


New leases

  • The global fintech group - Capital.com - has extended its lease agreement for 3,000 sqm of office space in the Skyliner office building in Warsaw until 2032. Over the past 12 months, lease extension agreements for a total of nearly 12,000 sqm have been signed in the building.
  • REHAU, a global manufacturer of advanced polymer solutions, has signed a lease for approximately 4,100 sqm of space at MLP Business Park Poznań. The new facility will integrate warehouse operations with modern office space and a dedicated showroom for product presentations, corporate meetings, and technical training.
  • RecuNova has leased 305 sqm in the Bucharest-based Olympia Tower office building for a new medical clinic. The lease deal was brokered by Activ Property Services.

New appointments

  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
