The volume of land sales for commercial real estate projects in Romania (excluding for traditional industrial and logistics projects) reached around €450 million in 2022, down from almost €800 million euros a year earlier, according to estimates by real estate consultancy Colliers. 

Belgian developer Atenor says it has agreed on a bilateral promise with CEE-focused real estate investment manager Adventum Group for the sale of the office complex @Expo in Bucharest. The promise is under the suspensive condition of the signing of a share purchase agreement by the end of Q1 2023, Atenor announced in a press release.

In the past 12 months, there were 154 buildings in Romania that received green certifications under the BREEAM or LEED standards, accounting for one-third of all buildings that were certified in the past 14 years, according to data from green building consultancy ADP.

SIF Hoteluri Oradea has reached a deal to sell the Hotel Eurohotel in Baia Mare for €2.1 million. The 3-star hotel is located near the city center and features 64 rooms, a restaurant and conference halls.

Romanian developer One United Properties has purchased an unfinished, abandoned building in the historic centre of Bucharest, for €13.5 million. The building will be transformed into a 5-star lifestyle hotel - One Plaza Athénée.  

Average asking prices of new and old apartments in Romania fell by 0.2% in November compared to the previous month to €1,704 per sqm, with Constanța, Iași and Cluj-Napoca recording slight gains of prices, according to Imobiliare.ro. 

German HR Group has taken over the Vienna House Easy Airport Bucharest near Henri Coanda Airport as part of a wider deal that involved the purchase of all Vienna House properties from Vienna House Capital and U City. 

Romanian property company Ideal Residence Developer has announced the launch of Marina Snagov comprising 33 luxury villas on the shores of Snagov lake near Bucharest. The company will invest over €12 million in the complex that is slated for delivery at the end of 2024.
