Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart, the first upscale Radisson branded hotel in Hungary has opened its doors in the vibrant Újbuda district. This hotel serves both as a retreat as well as a business hub and offers new bar and restaurant options for locals and overnight guests.

Demand in European hotel markets is slowly recovering to pre-pandemic levels. David Jenkins, Vice President of Business Development at Radisson Hotel Group talked to Property Forum about the company’s plans and expectations for the CEE region and also shared some details of the Group’s ESG strategy.

Radisson Hotel Group announced the debut of its upscale Radisson Red brand in Serbia with the signing of Radisson Red Belgrade, set to open later this year. Radisson Hotel Group has opened its 18th hotel in Poland with its first Radisson Blu Resort in Ostróda. Radisson Blu Resort & Conference Center, Ostróda Mazury is located directly on Lake Drwęca in the Masurian Lake District.

Radisson Hotel Group announced the debut of its luxury lifestyle Radisson Collection brand in Croatia, with the opening of Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel. This follows an extensive £30 million repositioning of the legendary Hotel Brioni, one of Croatia’s best-known hotels, by Radisson Hotel Group’s partner PPHE Hotel Group and its Croatian subsidiary Arena Hospitality Group.

Revetas Capital has sold Vitantis Shopping Center in Bucharest, with a leasable area of around 50,000 sqm, to Praktiker Real Estate, owned by businessman Omer Susli, for an undisclosed sum, according to economedia.ro.

Radisson Hotel Group has announced a €24 million investment program in Radisson Blu Bucharest Hotel, owned by Revetas Capital and Cerberus Capital Management, that will include the redesign of common spaces and the increase of the room count.
