OKAM City, located at ul. Jagiellońska 88 in Warsaw, the former Żerań FSO car factory, has a new property manager. The owner and developer OKAM Capital instructed international real estate advisory firm Savills to provide property management for the site.

More than three-quarters (76%) of Europe’s office buildings are at risk of obsolescence by the end of this decade unless landlords invest in improvements or find alternative uses for it. This is the warning from Cushman & Wakefield in its latest report.

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed by BIK S.A. to manage a property portfolio comprising four logistics parks. BIK S.A. is a Polish logistics developer owned by investment fund NREP NSF IV and supervised by Logicenters – the logistics platform of NREP. Cushman & Wakefield will provide integrated asset management solutions including financial and accounting services and ESG strategy execution advisory for Logistics Centre Kraków I, Logistics Centre Kraków II, BIK Park Sosnowiec II and BIK Park Wrocław I, with a combined leasable area of around 80,000 sqm.

Sonae Sierra will be responsible for managing Prishtina Mall, the largest shopping centre in Southeastern Europe, which is scheduled to open today. With a GLA of 115,000 sqm, Prishtina Mall is positioned as a regional centre intended to serve the surrounding area of the Balkans.

Face2Face Business Campus, an office complex in Katowice with a combined area of close to 50,000 sqm, has a new property manager. Its owner, a joint venture of the Czech fund INVESTIKA realitní fond and Luxembourg-based private equity investor Bud Holdings, has instructed Savills to provide property management for the complex.

Colliers has taken over the management of three office buildings in regional cities – Carbon Tower in Wrocław, Ocean Office Park A and Tischnera Office in Kraków – with total area of 66,000 sqm.

Colliers has taken over the management of more office buildings belonging to a joint venture of Investika realitní fond and Bud Holdings – Łużycka Office Park, and Łużycka Plus located in Gdynia. Thus, six office projects in the Tri-City have already come under the care of Colliers' management. Experts from the company's regional office will additionally be responsible for supporting the owner in the property’s commercialisation.

Savills forecasts that rising energy prices will be a major challenge for commercial property landlords, managers and tenants in 2023. In response to market expectations, Savills has launched an interdepartmental service line dedicated to improving energy performance and helping identify ways to reduce annual energy consumption in buildings by up to 14%.

Savills has announced the acquisition of Knight Frank’s commercial property and asset management team in Poland. Under the agreement, 35 employees have joined Savills and its Polish property management portfolio has surpassed 1,200,000 sqm.
