Investika completes BREEAM certification of Polish portfolio

In total, 121,000 sqm of office premises in 6 A-class office buildings that form a significant part of the Investika real estate fund´s portfolio in Poland has achieved international environmental BREEAM certification. Four properties have been certified at the “Excellent” level, while two have obtained the “Very Good” level. Successful BREEAM certification, one of the two most widely recognized international sustainability standards for buildings, is part of Investika real estate fund´s ESG strategy.

Stock leases 57,000 sqm of warehouse space in Lublin

Capital Park to build huge mixed-use project in Katowice

Following the approval of the local zoning plan in September 2024, Nowy Wełnowiec is entering the implementation phase. The 30-hectare revitalised site formerly occupied by the Silesia Metallurgical Plant in Katowice will become home to a mixed-use district with predominantly residential functions. Nearly a third of the area will be dedicated to open green spaces. The Capital Park Group is responsible for the implementation and management of the project. The architectural concept comes from the JEMS Architekci studio. The investor has received permission to modernise the former compressor house building since the beginning of the 20th century.

Panattoni builds a new industrial park in Sosnowiec

Panattoni will begin construction of a new park in the Silesian Voivodeship in December – Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V. The project will ultimately include two buildings with a total area of over 52,000 sqm. The first tenant is Hebe, for whom a build-to-suit distribution centre will be developed as part of the facility.

Echo Investment Group reports strong results after three quarters

After nine months of this year, the Echo Investment Group has strengthened its position in key sectors of the Polish real estate market. It has also entered the private student housing segment, starting the construction of two projects. The total value of the Group's assets at the end of September amounted to PLN 6.6 billion (ca. €1.5 billion), while cash reserves exceeded PLN 469 million (ca. €107.5 million). In November, Echo signed a conditional sale agreement for the React office building in Łódź.

With a total loan amount of €168 million Helaba and Erste Group are financing the acquisition of the prime office tower Warsaw UNIT for the Swedish real estate company Eastnine AB. The loan term is for five years and Helaba is acting as co-arranger and agent for the transaction.

New leases

  • Panattoni has commenced construction on the latest phase of Panattoni Park Gorzów II, developing a bespoke BTS warehouse for DPD Polska. The facility will encompass 5,300 sqm tailored to the courier company’s operational requirements. DPD Polska is scheduled to begin operations at the new site in August 2026.
  • Romanian strategic advisory firm Infinexa Restructuring has relocated its HQ to GTC’s City Gate South Tower in Bucharest. The move supports their integrated approach to delivering complex debt restructuring, insolvency mandates, and preventive procedures for distressed companies.
  • Sports Direct has leased 1,700 sqm in XOPark Sofia for its first Bulgarian store, in a deal brokered by CBRE.

New appointments

  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
