Czechs are increasingly combining travel with investment. They have been buying apartments or houses not only for their recreation, but also as a long-term investment of capital. Interest in foreign real estate has been growing for a long time, reports the real estate agency Philip & Frank.

7R has acquired a 140,000 sqm site in Stara Wieś, Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The plot will be used to develop more than 60,000 sqm of warehouse space, designed for logistics, warehousing, and built-to-own or built-to-suit projects.

BIG Poland has acquired OTO Park Koszalin, its 10th retail park in the country, further strengthening its position in the Polish retail market. In just over two and a half years, BIG Poland has built a portfolio of 10 fully commercialised retail parks with a total leasing area of nearly 200,000 sqm. Including three ongoing development projects, the company’s portfolio now covers 13 locations, creating a solid foundation for continued dynamic growth.

Savills has been appointed to manage a selection of major properties owned by Yareal Polska. Speedwell has secured its first loan in Poland — a PLN 100 million financing agreement with BNP Paribas Bank Polska for the development of Milestone Warsaw Mokotów.
