Panattoni has completed the sale of Panattoni Park Poznań A2, an industrial complex totalling 150,000 sqm located in Robakowo, near Poznań. The facility is fully let to a company in the clothing sector, which uses it as a logistics centre supporting its European operations. The park sits approximately 8.5 km from the junction of the A2 motorway and the S11 expressway and around 19 km from the centre of Poznań, with an intermodal terminal nearby offering direct connections to the ports of Hamburg and Rotterdam.
"The sale of Panattoni Park Poznań A2 completes the full cycle that we have been following in Poland for nearly two decades: we acquire land, build to meet the tenant's specific needs, let the property and hand over the completed asset to the investor," said Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni. "Each such transaction frees up capital for further projects and confirms that the build-to-suit model has strong foundations in Poland."
"Large, fully let logistics assets located in Poland's main warehouse markets remain highly attractive to institutional capital. Poznań is particularly well-positioned in this respect, thanks to its well-developed infrastructure and a location ensuring efficient access to both the domestic market and Western Europe," said Michał Stanisławski, Co-Head of Capital Markets at Panattoni.
Hall B, developed on a build-to-suit basis and comprising approximately 82,000 sqm, has received BREEAM Outstanding certification, making it the third Panattoni development in Poland to achieve this rating. The hall was constructed without the use of PVC, with primary energy consumption reduced by over 27 per cent against national requirements and water consumption reduced by 70 per cent against the baseline model. Over 95 per cent of construction waste was recycled or recovered. Hall A at the same complex holds a BREEAM Excellent certificate.
