Property developer GTC has received LEED Gold certification for the Cascade Office Building located in central Bucharest. 

Skanska has sold two office projects in Poland to Stena Real Estate BV, an international property company that is part of the privately owned Swedish Stena Group. The first phase of the Centrum Południe complex in Wroclaw, consisting of two joint office buildings, and the last building of the High5ive complex in Krakow, comprises 39,400 sqm of office space. The projects are designed and built in line with ESG principles. It is the second transaction between the two parties in CEE since the second building from the Spark office complex in Warsaw was acquired in 2020.

The real estate development and investment company Warimpex has started the construction of another office building in the Polish city of Kraków, Mogilska 35 Office, with approximately 11,000 sqm of space and a completion date set for the first half of 2023.

Echo Investment has received a €65.6 million loan for the construction of three office buildings of Brain Park complex in Kraków. The financing of the project was provided by PKO Bank Polski as a loan agent as well as Bank Pekao S.A. acting as security agent.

The commissioning of Warsaw UNIT, one of the most modern buildings in Poland, and two commenced investments, including a high-rise building, are the most important goals achieved by Ghelamco Poland in 2021.

HANSAINVEST Real Assets has acquired Generation Park Y, the last building of the Generation Park office complex in Warsaw. The transaction volume is €285 million, which makes it the largest office sale in the history of Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE and at the same time the largest sale in the office sector in CEE in 2021. Generation Park Y is HANSAINVEST Real Assets’ fourth acquisition from Skanska. 

Property developer Atenor delivered its office project Dacia One in central Bucharest at the end of December 2021, roughly five months after selling the building to Pavăl Holding, the owner of Romanian DIY retailer Dedeman. 

The commercial part of Horizon Development’s mixed-use property in downtown Budapest, Szervita Square Building was purchased by Union Investment for one of its institutional real estate funds. The parties agreed not to disclose details of the purchase price.

A survey carried out by professional services firm EY Romania among 40 owners of office buildings shows that 75% of them kept their current rent prices despite negotiations with tenants, while the rest lowered prices. 

CPI Property Group announced that the Group has signed disposals that will raise gross proceeds of about €700 million and net proceeds of about €550 million following repayment of associated asset-level debt.
