The global provider of logistics and relocation services has renewed its lease for space at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park for another term. Universal Express moved into the logistics centre almost a decade ago, and now occupies 13,600 sqm of modern space.

MLP Group is investing to develop a new logistics centre within the Katowice Special Economic Zone. The upcoming MLP Bieruń West, situated on recently acquired land, is set to provide approximately 55,000 sqm of cutting-edge warehouse space. It will be yet another logistics centre operating in the highly sought-after region of Upper Silesia. In line with the property developer’s standard, the project will undergo the BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’.

Havi Logistics has leased more than 16,000 sqm of new space within the expanded MLP Poznań logistics centre. The facility for the company will be equipped with solar PV panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging stations. Once completed, the new space is scheduled for handover at the beginning of the second half of 2024. Colliers’ Industrial and Logistics Department advised on the deal.

MLP Group is embarking on a project to develop its second logistics park within the Łódź urban area. MLP Business Park Łódź will deliver more than 30,000 sqm of city logistics space, some of it designated for light manufacturing. The project will undergo the BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’. The first facilities are expected to be available for occupancy by mid-2024.

MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski Park witnessed an official cornerstone-laying ceremony. The new logistics centre by MLP Group will encompass 56.7 thousand sqm of warehouse space, of which 9.2 thousand sqm will be taken up by the initial occupant Sunrise Medical. The project, due for completion in February 2024, is expected to achieve the BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’.

MLP Group has purchased an additional 6 hectares of land adjacent to the MLP Poznań West logistics centre. This will allow the construction of another 30,000 sqm of warehouse space. As a result, the target space of the complex has increased to more than 170,000 sqm. The existing plot of land has already been fully developed, with all facilities 100% leased.

In the first half of 2023, the operating income of MLP Group reached PLN 185.7 million (€40.3 million). Compared to the same period a year ago, this number is higher by 52%.

MLP Group has begun the construction of another warehouse in its Pruszków logistics centre. The new facility at MLP Pruszków II, being built on a speculative basis, will provide 33,000 sqm of warehouse, office and staff amenity space. It is to be ready for use already in February 2024. General contracting work has been once again entrusted to Pekabex. It is planned that the project will undergo BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’.

MLP Group has just launched a project to expand the MLP Bucharest West logistics park. The new building of about 16,000 sqm, being developed on a speculative basis, is scheduled for completion by the year’s end.

MLP Group has established a relationship with the German banking institution Aareal Bank AG, whereby the latter has committed funds of over €63.5 million. The borrowed funds will be applied to refinance the MLP Poznań West project and to finance new investment projects undertaken by the MLP Group.
