MLP Poznań witnessed a foundation stone laying ceremony for a new project to be developed for HAVI Logistics. Once completed, the new facility – comprising 16,000 sqm of space – is scheduled for handover at the beginning of the second half of 2024. The project contracted to WPIP Construction, will undergo a BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’.


The MLP Poznań logistics centre is set for expansion with the addition of a new warehouse facility. The foundation stone for this development was laid last Thursday. Custom-designed for Havi Logistics, a global company that optimises and manages the supply chains of leading brands, the project will deliver 16,000 sqm of space. Over 15,500 sqm will be designated for warehousing purposes, including cold and freezer storage, while modern office and staff amenity areas, spanning two floors, will utilise the remaining 680 sqm.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by representatives of the general contractor, the tenant and the project owner. MLP Group, the owner of the park in Poznań, was represented by CEO and President of the Management Board Radosław T. Krochta. Representing WPIP Construction, engaged as the general contractor, was its CEO Janusz Signetzki, while the tenant was represented by Katarzyna Piątkowska, Managing Director at HAVI Logistics Sp. z o.o. The completed space is slated for handover early in the latter part of 2024.

We’re committed to having all newly constructed facilities BREEAM certified. Simultaneously, we prioritise occupant comfort at our logistics park by incorporating advanced solutions that enhance functionality and environmental sustainability. This approach is appreciated by tenants, who choose our warehouse spaces as long-term business locations”, said Radosław T. Krochta, CEO of MLP Group S.A.

Positioned strategically in Poznań, the Centre will play a pivotal role within our supply chain, facilitating streamlined and efficient logistics processes. Beyond being a warehouse, it will serve as a comprehensive, modern and – primarily – environmentally sustainable space, facilitating more projects within our strategy of sustainable development”, said Katarzyna Piątkowska, Managing Director at HAVI Logistics in Poland.

The facilities currently under development at MLP Poznań will achieve the BREEAM New Construction environmental certification of ‘Excellent’. The new project will be equipped with solar PV panels, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging stations and other amenities.

MLP Poznań is located in Koninko, near the S11 expressway connecting Poznań and Katowice. The park is situated approximately 16 km from the centre of Poznań and 4 km from the A2 motorway. Ultimately, it will provide almost 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space to be built on an area of 20 ha.

New appointments

  • Speedwell has expanded its industrial and logistics team with the appointment of Valentin Achim as Leasing and Property Manager for Industrial Developments. Achim brings extensive experience in coordinating commercial and operational activities within the logistics and industrial sectors. In his new role, he will oversee the development and expansion of the company's Spaceplus platform.
  • Colliers has appointed Kata Mazsaroff, Tamás Beck, and Miklós Ecsődi as Equity Partners in Hungary, effective 30 April 2026. Mazsaroff, who joined in 2007, rises to Managing Partner after overseeing a 200 per cent revenue increase since her 2022 appointment as Managing Director. Beck, with Colliers since 1994, has led the Industrial & Logistics division since 2005, facilitating transactions covering 1.9 million sqm of built space and 9.8 million sqm of land. Ecsődi, Head of Occupier Services and Office Agency since joining in 2011, has secured over 450,000 sqm in leases valued above €600 million.
  • Aleksandra Walaszek and Tomasz Nowakowski have joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Agency. Walaszek has more than 10 years of experience in the retail sector. Nowakowski is an expert with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic leasing and retail property transaction management.
