The construction of a brand-new facility at the MLP Poznań logistics centre, built-to-suit for HAVI Logistics, is already underway. The project involves developing over 16,000 sqm of new space.. The goal is to achieve a BREEAM New Construction environmental certification of ‘Excellent’. MLP Group has entrusted the role of general contractor to WPIP Construction. Completion of the works and handover to the occupier will take place in August of this year.

The facility will feature solar PV panels, heat pumps, and charging stations for passenger cars and trucks.

“We’re commencing work to expand MLP Poznań, our logistics scheme highly popular with tenants. For this task, we've engaged WPIP Construction, a trusted partner with extensive experience in general contracting services. In line with our strategic vision, we expect the newly built facility to meet the highest standards and to undergo the rigorous BREEAM certification. We implement solutions that benefit the natural environment, enhance functionality and improve the comfort of our tenants’ staff”, said Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board and Chief Development Officer at MLP Group S.A.

“The opportunity to undertake yet another project for MLP Group, this time in the Province of Poznań, further confirms the recognition we've earned in the construction market. It is attributable to our delivering high-quality workmanship and consistently meeting contract deadlines”, added Janusz Signetzki, CEO of WPIP Construction. “As we embark on expansion of the MLP Poznań logistics centre, our aim is to further validate these strengths in action.”

MLP Poznań is located in Koninko, near the S11 expressway connecting Poznań and Katowice. The park is situated approximately 16 km from the centre of Poznań and 4 km from the A2 motorway. Ultimately, it will provide almost 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space to be built on an area of 20 ha.
