Panattoni has been granted €67 million to construct a building as part of Panattoni Park Poznań A2. The development is to be handed over in October this year with the entire area of 82,000 sqm to be leased by a giant from the clothing industry.

MLP Group has signed a new financing agreement with BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A., whereby the Bank has committed over €19.7 million. The facility will be used to finance and partially refinance the MLP Czeladź project with a target leasable area of approximately 68,000 sqm. The Kycia Legal law firm advised on the transaction.

Regesta S.A., a specialist provider of logistics services, has leased 33,000 sqm in one of the two warehouses of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V. The tenant was advised on the choice of the location and during lease negotiations by real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

CTP acquired an industrial complex from Bluehouse Capital earlier this year on a plot of land with a total area of 330,000 sqm in the city district of Ostrava - Hrušov. In addition to the existing first phase of 18,000 sqm, which already has three tenants, the developer plans to build another 76,000 sqm of industrial/logistics space. The warehouse will be built in the revitalized area of the former chemical plants with a total area of 94,000 sqm and will become the largest in the Czech CTP portfolio.

pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €117 million investment loan facility to a logistics fund managed by GLP Capital Partners (GCP). The fund will utilise the proceeds for the refinancing of the development of a logistics portfolio in Poland and the Czech Republic. pbb acted as arranger and sole lender under the facility.

Property developer Speedwell has purchased a new land plot of 15,000 sqm in Popești-Leordeni, near Bucharest, for its second light industrial project under the SpacePlus brand. 

Part of the Maszoński Group's portfolio, MCG EastBridge will lease nearly 37,000 sqm of warehouse and office space at GLP Kraków Logistics Centre III. AXI IMMO was the advisor in selecting and leasing the location.

Bogi Gabrovic, CFO of CTP Poland talked to Property Forum at MIPIM about the current situation in the Polish warehouse market, the main drivers of demand and the developer’s plans for growth.

In 2022, the Polish industrial and warehouse market maintained its solid growth momentum despite headwinds such as project financing constraints and rising occupancy costs. The expected decline in new supply and shrinking land availability are likely to result in a supply gap in the space of the next year or so, says real estate advisory firm Savills.

Toys distribution firm Viva Toys has purchased a 12,500 sqm logistics space as well as a land plot of 63,667 sqm from Aplast Wood Industry, a portfolio company of the CEE Special Situations Fund managed by EMSA Capital, for an undisclosed sum. The assets are based in a locality in Ilfov County, near Bucharest.
