Polish warehouse developer 7R is implementing a decarbonization plan. This plan aims to reduce the company's carbon footprint by 42% by 2030 and systematically decarbonize individual warehouse projects. At the same time, 7R is joining SBTi and publishing another ESG report.

M Core is continuing its strategy of developing SBU (Small Business Unit) warehouses under its Multipark brand. The company has recently signed two projects in Poland, in Zabrze and Bydgoszcz. 

Savills Investment Management has signed two lease agreements at Park Szczecin Trzebusz totalling almost 30,000 sqm. The new tenant of the warehouse centre in Szczecin is Autodoc Logistics. Furthermore, one of the current tenants, Hegen Europe, has decided to expand its space as part of the logistics park within the Savills IM portfolio in Poland.

Dm-drogerie markt has signed an agreement to lease new warehouse space in Prologis Park Prague-D1 Ostředek. The new dm distribution centre will cover an area of 21,000 sqm and will also include offices. 

Industrial parks should become a powerful driver of the economy and a driving force for the development of the Ukrainian industry and its inclusion in the European system. The state has created the prerequisites for this: in addition to tax incentives, the draft budget for 2024 provides UAH 1 billion (€26 million) for a program to support industrial parks. Iryna Nastych summarised the situation in an article prepared by the Ukrainian Real Estate Club for Property Forum. She analysed how the segment of industrial parks has received a boost in development despite the war, what is the synergy between the state, business and local communities, and what prevents more active development of this area.

A new city area CTZone is under construction in Ostrava, which will be the centre of business opportunities and residential housing. Behind the ambitious project is CTP, which is simultaneously developing several other activities in the Ostrava region. 

GLP has started construction of a new warehouse in Niepołomice near Kraków. The sole tenant of GLP Kraków III Logistics Centre will be MCG EastBridge, a new brand from the Maszoński Logistic portfolio, marking the largest lease transaction in terms of square footage on the Polish warehouse market in H1 2023. 

Logicor has re-signed long-term customer Leroy Merlin, the French hypermarket chain, in an agreement that will see them expand their current facility at Logicor Stryków in Central Poland. Under the agreement, Leroy Merlin will occupy c.50,000 sqm of warehouse space there, which will be used as their main distribution centre for stores across Poland and the wider region.

MLP Group is embarking on a project to develop its second logistics park within the Łódź urban area. MLP Business Park Łódź will deliver more than 30,000 sqm of city logistics space, some of it designated for light manufacturing. The project will undergo the BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’. The first facilities are expected to be available for occupancy by mid-2024.

Octava Property Trust has sold a development plot for an SBU warehouse project to an Austrian investor. According to real estate advisory firm Savills, engaged in the search for investors in partnership with Avison Young, Warsaw is the fastest-growing warehouse market in Poland.
