CTP has signed three new deals totalling 31,750 sqm at CTPark Budapest West and CTPark Komárom, both located close to Hungary’s capital city Budapest.

Panattoni is undertaking another large-scale project in Silesia. The company has bought 26 ha of land and has launched work on its first development in Bytom, which is to comprise three industrial buildings. The location allows for easy access to key cities both within the country and throughout the Central European region.

7R is preparing to start construction of 7R Park Bytom I. The project will be built in the spirit of ESG: it marks the revitalization of 25 ha of neglected land, will have numerous pro-environmental solutions, at the same time the developer has established cooperation with local authorities and actively supports the local community.

The total industrial and logistics stock for the CEE-12 region has grown to exceed 65 million sqm, with 25 million sqm situated in and around the 12 capital city markets. Poland maintains the largest I&L market and is approaching the 30 million sqm mark, reveals a new report by Colliers.

CTP is launching another industrial and logistics complex in the Mazovia region in Poland. The developer will develop two cross-dock facilities in Emilianów with a total leasable area of nearly 102,500 sqm. The investor has already received a building permit for the first phase of the investment. Its commissioning is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2024.

Fortress Real Estate Investments Limited has commenced the development of Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze with a target GLA of 77,500 sqm. The company has secured its first tenant, LIT Logistyka Polska, which has leased approximately 11,600 sqm of warehousing space. Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze will be the first investment in Europe in which the company has been both investor and developer since the beginning of the investment process.

Despite the pandemic, travellers and businesses have seen several large-scale real estate-related developments at Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest during the past few years. There will be more huge investments over the coming years. MLP Group has begun the construction of another warehouse in its Pruszków logistics centre. The new facility at MLP Pruszków II, being built on a speculative basis, will provide 33,000 sqm of warehouse, office and staff amenity space. It is to be ready for use already in February 2024. General contracting work has been once again entrusted to Pekabex. It is planned that the project will undergo BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’.

Stannah Stairlifts Limited, which has been helping disabled people to remain independent for more than 150 years and is a world market leader in the supply of stair lifts, moved in March to larger production premises in CTPark Brno Líšeň, where it leases more than 6,000 sqm. This is not the end of the expansion, however, as the company plans to move all their European rail production to Brno in the coming year, in order to provide faster and more flexible deliveries to European customers.

Accolade Group has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the Karlovarská Business Park complex near Prague Airport from Czech real estate fund Conseq realitní. Accolade is now 100% the owner of this complex. Both parties have decided not to disclose the amount of the transaction, which was brokered by CBRE.
