SAP Hungary has recently renewed its office lease agreement for over 18,000 sqm at Graphisoft Park, where the software company has been present in the past 18 years.

Hungarian developer Biggeorge Property has extended its existing portfolio with an international residential property development division (Biggeorge Homes International) in Q4 2024, and brought aboard three new leaders to successfully implement its European expansion plans. Hungarian property investor Indotek Group has announced the appointment of Philip Wood as Head of International Transactions & Asset Management, tasked with overseeing the group’s international expansion strategy, focusing on key markets in Central, Southern, and Western Europe.

Real estate brokerage Duna House estimates that 9,754 residential properties changed hands, up 21% year on year, and that HUF 112 billion worth of housing mortgages were taken out in September 2024 in Hungary, more than double (+106%) of the base period's data. The number of transactions in the first nine months of the year shows a nearly 40% yr/yr increase.
