Industrial developer CTP has signed a long-term lease agreement with Gorenje Magyarország Kft., the household appliance manufacturer and part of the Hisense Group, for a new 15,000 sqm facility at CTPark Budapest West.

This new building, currently under construction and set for completion by the end of 2025, will serve as Gorenje's central logistics and storage hub to support its operations and enhance supply chain efficiency.

András Kiss, Regional Business Development Lead at CTP Hungary, said: “Given that over two-thirds of our new leases are signed with existing tenants, it’s always a strong vote of confidence in our approach and what our parks deliver when a partner like Gorenje chooses to grow with us again.”

Norbert Füle, Managing Director at Gorenje Magyarország Kft., said: "It was a natural decision for us to expand at CTPark Budapest West. CTP has consistently provided reliable infrastructure and a professional, responsive approach to our evolving needs. Their commitment to sustainability and long-term partnership aligns with our own values, and this expansion supports both our operational and environmental goals."

The agreement marks a significant milestone in the ongoing partnership between the two companies, with Gorenje already having a presence at CTPark Budapest West.

The new facility is designed to meet the highest environmental standards, targeting BREEAM Excellent certification. It will incorporate energy-efficient features such as heat pumps, solar power, and innovative insulation, with a green wall on the exterior to promote biodiversity.

CTPark Budapest West is one of Hungary's largest and most advanced industrial parks and is located next to the M1 motorway, providing easy access for a skilled local workforce.
