Panattoni Hungary and KEPI have delivered a built-to-suit industrial project spanning 16,600 sqm in Kecskemét’s Premium Industrial Park.

Over the last two and a half decades, a lot has changed in the Hungarian real estate market. We talked to Noah Steinberg, CEO of WING Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Echo Investment in Poland and Bauwert in Germany, about the main challenges of the past 25 years, the strategy that has been most effective in addressing them and the plans the group has for the next 25 years.

Real estate brokerage Duna House estimates that 9,754 residential properties changed hands, up 21% year on year, and that HUF 112 billion worth of housing mortgages were taken out in September 2024 in Hungary, more than double (+106%) of the base period's data. The number of transactions in the first nine months of the year shows a nearly 40% yr/yr increase.

Hungarian developer Faedra Group has kicked off the construction of two industrial and logistics warehouses in Budapest, covering a total of more than 21,000 sqm, following an investment of more than €23 million.
